Having graduated from USF, I can honestly say we don't have a consistent squad at all. They have their moments, but its I wouldn't hold my breath for them

lol, you are thinking we Florida fans here are a lot more upset than we really are. Sure it sucks, but to me it hurts more that the defense didn't bother to show up at all, I had a feeling we might lose...but an 11-1 season and a likely Sugar Bowl berth is nothing to be disappointed about. Not to mention there is no room for complaining as a Gator fan...two national championships in three years is more than enough.

I do feel bad for Cincy...I'd definitely be interested in a UF vs Cincy game...not sure exactly where the bowl games would line up. I just hope there isnt TCU v BSU like I've heard whispers about...what a horrendous matchup that would be.

Game tonight was pretty hearbreaking, but not at all surprising. Future does look bright with Daniels, especially if he can up that completion percentage. Just wish the defense was more consistent and Mike Ford would have the season we know he can. Guy is a beast at times. Some weeks they look dominating, others they are so inept.

True, but don't kid yourself into thinking Florida was about to be nice and let Alabama have the win since Florida has had "more than enough". Florida tried their hardest, and in a year where this "Legend of Tebow" has grown to simply silly proportions Florida got steamrolled by a MUCH better Alabama squad.

Yes, the Sugar Bowl is nothing to scoff at, and im not saying some fans arent upset (though im sure a majority are)...but for a team like Florida has been hyped up like this to lose like this is a bit humbling and I know Florida's players are prolly quite dejected and upset right now...

But my whole main point, outside the fans of the jean shorts, is that their heroic king in Tebow shed tears, certainly not manly tears, on national television in all 3 of his major losses over the past 3 years (UGA, Ole Miss, now Bama). He's got one more game in the NCAA and its not for a national title and I couldnt be happier about it.

Yea no doubt Tebow was hyped a bit much all season. What no one really saw coming was how bad the defense would be in this game. Sure no Dunlap hurts, but he would not have made the difference. They just came out so flat and never made the big plays they usually do on defense. I expect Alabama to continue the streak of SEC national championships.

People always cry when big-6 teams won't play the good minor-conference teams, you can't hate on them when they do - ESPECIALLY playing @ Hawaii, which -noone- will do. It's not like you can predict with accuracy 3 years in advance when the minor-conference teams will fall off.

You could schedule Boise now for 2011 and they could suck then - you never know.
