No he didn't.Yeah.. this guy wrote much of it.
You seem to be a bit lost. Yes, people on a Final Fantasy board know about Nobuo.
Never knew he was the guy who did the FFXI music, thanks.
did not know pat morita had an alias.
All of that guy's music were for those old games that had crappy graphics
haha, this thread is awesome.
Didn't he do like...2 fucking songs for XI? It sure as hell wasn't the whole thing.
But he will always be my lovey hunk for Magictek research Facility. and of course Dancing Mad.
I suppose you have your answer.
Yes, people know, and no, they don't care. I like his music though.
Didn't Milkman hook up with him at one point or something as well? (for milkman's wife), I forget now....

Just a quick BG search of the name Nobuo Uematsu, a small sample of BG threads for an indication of who cares. There are many more links also.

Toke Jhread?
The OP's title fits their post perfectly.
What were the two tracks he did for FFXI anyhow? I know one of them was for the final CoP CS (you know, the one that took away the HUD), but I can't recall the second one.
At any rate, he's doing all the tunes for FFXIV last I checked, which will be interesting.
Were they English? I couldn't make out one single word.
He did Ronfaure's theme.
The greatest theme in the game.
Naoshi Mizuta wrote most of the FFXI music, but Uematsu did that first big album and most of every other FF. IMO Mizuta is doing a wonderful job with the music.
Pretty much. Couldn't figure out a catchy enough title.
Nobuo, and Arnie Roth the conductor for Distant Worlds at the after-concert party in the Crimson Lounge in SF. It was very strange walking into a lounge/club and listening to the Black Mages play in the background. If you didn't know it was FF music, you wouldn't have even suspected anything.
And yeah, I'm aware he only wrote a few select scores for FFXI; but isn't everyone San d'Orian anyways??
