Does anyone care/know about Nobuo Uematsu?

Nobuo Uematsu, Naoshi Mizua and Kuni Tanioka composed the score for the core FF game. I believe he was the one who invited the othr 2 t score with him, not unlike how he invited Junya Nakano and Masashi Hamauzu to do X. But his contribution in FFXI was quite minimal. But a whole lot of cutscenes still use his music, because he handled pretty much all the emotional tracks

I suppose Uematsu got too busy later on, and Mizuta became the sole composer from Zilart onwards. The only exception to this is Distant Worlds.

It is easier to say Uematsu created FFXI's main theme, which Distant Worlds and all of the cutscene music listed are based on. (and Bard music)

And who made the ToAU44 battle theme (vs Alex). We need to give him a crown of awesome. One of the best fights in the game.

He actually visited Digipen for a few hours when he was up in Seattle. It was cool we got to ask him questions and show him some of our student games.

It was funny though when we asked him what his favorite piece of music he wrote was, the translator said something like, "He says Aerith's theme because people really liked the character... and I guess umm she dies?"
