yes. we know who he is, and we love him. and now I'm listening to the orchestral version of Ronfaure's theme on youtube... mmm, love it.

and I hope whoever referenced him as composing FFXI's music was kidding, he only did a minority of the pieces. which a real hardcore fan could tell, he tends to use more concrete melodic themes (like the melody from Ronfaure) that can be easily recalled, as opposed to most of the environmental/ambient-sounding stuff that pervades the soundtrack.

thanks to this thread I've been listening to Ronfaure constantly lately, and I can't stop. I hate you all. but not really because it's an awesome song.
