is it sad that I can tell you that's Hironobu Sakaguchi off the top of my head... and Yasumi Matsuno is the FFT/Tactics Ogre Guy. then there's Yoshitaka Amano, who did the art for the earlier games, Tetsuya "belts 'n' zippers" Nomura who has done the more recent games and the Kingdom Hearts series, obviously Yasunori Mitsuda (who has already been mentioned) who did the music for the Chrono series as well as a number of other games... and I think those are all I know. Well, unless we delve into Nintendo territory with Koji Kondo and the gods of gaming, Gunpei Yokoi and Shigeru Miyamoto.

Dude, how could you leave off Itō? His main contribution is the creation of the ATB system, among other planning/designs... Hiroyuki Itō
