Show me the math and parser results and discuss.
No; "I r saw KJ is do morer damage by 50-80 but I dun parse and I wear the same shitty gear for both WS".

    2. Why is there a "Vote" option when you only want people doing the math? If they're doing the math, the results should be the same if done properly, so a vote is unnecessary.

    3. King's Justice (For the mentioned events).

    1. Not everyone reads or posts there.
    2. Not everyone posts (lurkers) but more people that don't post will still vote.
    3. Proof?
    4. Do you have WAR levelled with top gear?

Remove the crit factor, and KJ is obviously better. So I've always thought of it this way:

On anything where you can get a decent crit rate, RR should average higher. On anything that has a higher AGI rating (high level mobs? thf/nin mobs? certain monster families?) where your crit rate will suck, KJ will likely be better.

I would say that for me (Taru, base DEX=68 ) this is the best RR set up for Greater Colibri, most Trolls, Sea Puks, Wivre, Skoffin, Mamool Ja Stabler and pets, Mamool Ja Piker and Wyvern Pet and Mamool Ja Mimer because it caps critical hit rate then maybe Blusterer and Philosopher (they have higher AGI right?).
    FFXIGEAR.com
This would be better for Infiltrator, Lurker some trolls and maybe Blusterer and Philosopher:
    FFXIGEAR.com

I would put this as the best KJ set for me:
    http://ffxigear.com/?ref=17419
For Infiltator and Lurker>Acc+25 Kupo Head and a couple other changes maybe.

Someone wanna show the math on which is better with those gear sets or change them to how you think is ideal and do it?

On average my RR's will do more than my KJ's. KJ has consistently done more dmg for me then RR, under Mighty Strikes.

Talking no MS btw, add attack buffs in the maff if it changes the outcome.

Shit is situational? Voted KJ, but they both have their uses.

Let's have anyone saying x>y anymore, give mobs or event please or this is all pointless. In my experience I have only parsed RR higher (although admittedly minor changes in gear sets but neither set is the best possible) against Greater Colibri, Wivre, Mamool Ja camps, Trolls, Einherjar, city Dynamis (not done much ice as WAR), Limbus, Salvage and Nyzul Isle mobs but note that they are all easy to cap Critical Hit Rate on.

I'm not a pro warrior, so this sounds interesting. I'm afraid I won't add any info, only more questions.

I just saw on wiki that Raging Rush adds a crit bonus with 200 and 300 Tp. I never saw this info before. Is it true ? Anyone tested this ? Where are the tests ?
If 200Tp is really a jump from 10% crits to 30% crits, wouldn't Martial Bhuj be better than anything else for RR ?
Also, it seems crits matter a lot for RR. Do you think items such as brave grip and moogle MKE could push RR a step higher ?

You don't mention Ares legs. 6Str 6Dex 2DA sounds pretty good for both ws.
The legs your suggest have 8Dex/20atk or 10Str. Why are these better than Ares ?

I personally prefer KJ because it seems to be more a no-brainer: str, acc, da and you're set for good consistent results. KJ also opens more possibilities of lv 2 and 3 skillchains, which adds to overall damage.

I referred to MS b/c using both under it, KJ has out parsed it for me. ACP final fight I cranked off 4 ws, KJ 1900+, KJ 1600+, RR 900, and KJ 1100. I'm going to play around with KJ a bit more and i'll throw some numbers at you.

Oh, didn't see the question above the poll haha. KJ for sure cuz I'll be eating meat and have at least 2 brd or brd+cor in all those situations.

181 base damage using your proposed kings justice set with capped fstr * 3 swings will result in (543 * pdif * acc expressed as a percentage) damage on average while

144 base damage using your proposed RR set and a reasonable fstr estimate * 3 swings will result in (432 * (pdif + crit rate expressed as a percentage) * acc expressed as a percentage) damage on average

The previous numbers are very precise, but to give a more specific example(that won't hold true to all situations and is only usable as a general reference):

At 1.5 pdif 95% acc, KJ will average 773 damage. Solving for 773 in RR equation, you get 410.4 * X = 773, X=1.88, or 38% crit rate during RR needed to beat KJ.

Generally speaking, if you aren't overbuffed and pay respect to DEX, RR is a better weaponskill. During mighty strikes, KJ will always win. In very high attack situations, KJ will win.

I use KJ almost exclusively unless a strong skillchain opportunity presents itself out of luck (e.g. someone RR's before me).

Considering the randomness of crits, (even when breaking tiers), skillchain options, etc,. imo its just so much easier to gear on STR and rape shit than gear for DEX and pray u might get an extra crit or 2.

Buffs are usually too random to get any sort of reliable parse at most events for me, but when i do parse KJ does in fact win. This could be due to my weak DEX setup, but i'm a Mithra vs Greater Colibri.

Another thing i found from parsing is that if DA decides to proc a ton on one ws or the other, even in an 1-2 hours of parsing it can still mean 50~80 dmg difference in the average ws (especially RR).

And finally, With less than top end gear, I'd put my money on KJ due to lack of those dex+ pieces like ebody/cuchu mantle/heca cap.

You're telling the KJ supporters to post parses to back-up their claims. But, looking at the current poll results, most people tend to the think that KJ is better. So, I'd say that the burden of proof lies on you, not the people supporting KJ. Why don't you show us some parse results that shows RR beating KJ?

What exactly is the point of having a vote when *mathematically* there should only be one answer?

    3. Proof?
    1. It's been posted a while back in the mentioned thread.
    2. People report the "Hidden damage" in events like Einherjar, Dynamis, and Limbus.
    3. As one person mentioned, it really is situational. With very good gear, you're going to be 13DEX short of capping critical hits. If the mob is tougher, you're going to need even more DEX. In short, your critical hits will be lacking on tougher mobs.

    4. Do you have WAR levelled with top gear?
    No, but I have RSE.

    5. Don't shit up my thread already.
Shitty thread is already shitty. I answered your question and already provided more pretty numbers than you've received thus far.

Edit: This post was before all these other posts.
