Calling Max a math person is pretty laughable.
The only math I disagreed with was the chart that used the same pDIF for RR and KJ which is completely and utterly illogical (no offense to the guy who made it, I know he had the best intentions). All real maths and extensive parses show that RR is better in this thread in my honest opinion.
Completely off topic, but am I the only one who cringes when someone says 'maths'? :-/
I did a deal on this in What's Better or Randomer a while back with Sath and I were talking about it, I found the way to go was to use KJ with Bergressor up and RR with it down, I've stuck to that since then and my parses have made me happy in the pants.
He's not talking about the merits, he's saying use KJ when you have zerk/agressor up and RR when you don't.
Anybody using Zahak's Mail because the mobs are lower level should reconsider.... Critical Hit Rate is subject to the same 'diminishing returns' effect caused by a higher pDIF as Attack.
Out of curiosity, would it be worth it to put together a full-crit set up for WAR?
If you can somehow get your hands on Hachiryu Body, it's possible to get +18% to crit rate from equipment and merits...
- Rampager +6
- Claymore Grip +3 (If Brave Grip wasn't a shitty 5% damage boost it would be epic)
- Hachiryu Haramaki +5
- Merits +4
Has anyone with the body (few as there are) taken the time to test this out? That has got to be a nasty set up for merit parties (at least on birds) though I've heard some people say Adaman still beats Hachiryu for WAR (and tbh I gotta agree.) At least the crit build doesn't sacrifice haste (shit, WAR even gets Haidate for that massive +15 DEX)
Thorny would you mind posting the DEF numbers that you used for the Greater Colibri in your calculations?

Alright then. Does anybody have new cRatio > pDIF values for two handed weapons? I know that it was changed a while ago and that wiki is no longer accurate. I tried browsing through SG but I can't read Japanese, so it didn't do much good.
Noone knows, only that pDIF cap is 3.15.
