for some reason ever since MJ died, my gf and I have been listening to a ton of beatles

my current fave is The Medley on Abbey Road (starting at Golden Slumbers)


I grew up really liking Nowhere Man, Across the Universe, A Day in the Life and later on when my tastes grew more douchey I liked Happiness is a Warm Gun and I'm so Tired, and Revolution etc

lately I've been enjoying getting into them by their proper albums, rather than the old blue double disc release I had borrowed, their later works -- I had also borrowed the red double disc early releases set but couldn't enjoy their early works



kinda disappointed at the insistency of the trolling/hatan but I won't say anything more. I think beatles etc are amazing artists and contributed so much to current music (some say Bowie contributed more but that's a whole other discussion).

I think if someone had gone to Grandmaster Flash or George Clinton or some Rap legend from way back I think the feedback woulda been better

sadly McCartney doesn't/didn't used to come to Toronto, and I forget why, he wasn't allowed for a while, drug charges way back maybe
