Servers w/o NASA ruining them?

NASA is really only good for 3 Kings, which isn't a big loss to my LS since we do them very rarely. Other small spawn area pops like Cerb / Khim / Tiamat could be NASA'd I suppose, but you'd have to have a tank PT there and unafk the whole time. I'm on Sylph as well and Rareex has been cleaning up at F/N even with less numbers; fortunately Odin has been kind to us with E Bodies (the only reason imo to camp F/N, can buy N Head for 2-3 M).

OP has to be in NN or Crest, no kings = no events for them.

Seems like my LS gets the random "We decided to camp Nid for 2 days and ended up with an E body" then got the fuck out for awhile because Odin spam is better. Or like the other day with "Oh shit first window Aspid and no one is around get the fuck out here" landing an A body for an old member who plays RDM a lot is nice, as well. The only king item it seems like we could really use is D rings. (That we can't get from odin, but we're basically capped on everything else sans maybe 1-2 e bodies for not so old people like me and others with fresh 75's. And lolRidill in '09.) I don't mind kings -that much- but I spent a lot of my '05-'07 and some of '08 game time in DA/BD/VOS but I'd rather not go back if I had the choice.

I've personally competed against Nasa and if your LS doesn't use app it seems like you are kind of screwed but it's not 100%.... Just not worth it if you aren't willing to fight fire with fire. :D

You really need about 15 people or more to make NASA work to its potential. People without it just assume everybody in the NASA LS is using it when that is far from the truth most of the time. When you only run it with less than 8 people, you are going to lose claims. Most people just fail to realize that a few people with NASA isn't gonna do anything for ya really and idiots end up throwing money away because they don't know how to use it properly.

I heard VV broke recently and as for the "Remedy-remake" shell, Paradigm - which, by the way we do not consider ourselves a Remedy-remake shell since only about 10 of our current members are former Remedy members and most have moved on to Midgard - we focus on Einherjar/ZNM's/KS-99's/Limbus/Sea and tend to avoid HNM camping mostly because of lack of interest from our members and because of 24/7's former claim monopoly.

We are doing very well with 60 members (20 of which are currently on trial) and we are getting more and more quality people in our shell. Although with the news of 24/7 falling apart under Angelyka (lol - we actually kicked him from Paradigm) we might consider camping again if members show interest.

Yeah from what i can gather (and this is like 3rd or 4th hand info so it may very well be incorrect). VV had some internal issues, basically a divide some who thought that certain members dickish behaviour was funny and some who thought it was a disgrace, shell split into 2 shells, the person who was holding all their SW/DI gil rmt'd it and quit.

247 are still around and still claiming stuff, however their kills are a lot more random than before, either low manned because they just dont have the people, or very very messy due to a lack of a decent number of skilled players (dont get me wrong, anyone can have a dodgy fight, but having them consistantly is when you have to worry, im talking about going through 3-5 tanks on things like tia/khim on more than one occasion).

VV never really seemed to camp a whole lot, they would go to kings, but only it seemed if DI/SW were not open and very very occasionally they would go to khim (saw them at tia once). So i personally havent really noticed any difference (the 2 breakaway VV shells still camp DI/SW)

And in chroma we are still plodding along doing our own thing :D getting our fair share of claims/kills/drops and having fun too! (Including our first vrtra kill recently, a straight tanked non zerged kill)

we were gonna trade an N sash for it, but than we decided we didnt want to spend time in a pit for a mob that popped once a week when we can fight Odin every 1-2 weeks.

Why only do one? Getting nasa was the best thing to ever happen to our ls. We're able to still knock out odin every 2 weeks while having a near 97% claim rate. We're able to sell any and all king drops(including dring if you're on midgard) helping us push out a relic every 2-3 weeks.

Well before I got kicked there was around 9 around prime time but at in the middle of the night and random times there were like 4-6.

Yah they do have unlimited, we got it about 3 months ago we had to pay like a 2000 dollar extra. Apart from Showtime stealing 750 dollars from the LS and NASA and giving it to PreEminence. It was a pretty rough time, that was around the time we pretty much always got outclaimed. But yeah they have unlimited NASA and It's linked to Chavo which is that idiot Booyaka's iclaim character. Surprised that character is still around since It's done more hacking then any other 24/7 member. A lot of 24/7 members are very nice people well.. Not anymore most of the cool/nice people left/kicked. Lol

This is much pretty it. KoN claims now and then with NQ App. Dak's linkshell has random bot #242342 but claims fairly often because of having double the botters of any other ls.

Nasa is easily screwed up by idiots with fast cast gear and song delay down gear, can have like 26 people on that shit and lose claims a decent amount, that and people forgot to hit activate.
