i work with the United States Congress. there are no stupid people at my work
lol
"You don't have to pass an IQ test to be in the United States Senate"
I work at UPS, and we load trailers in a hub in Iowa. Each trailer gets a group of different cities and towns in it, and we have to read the label on the box to make sure it goes in the trailer before we load it.
Each trailer is named after the town the distribution center is in, and on one particular night, I was in a trailer called Hiawatha. One of the newer guys was in with me, and he turns to me and asks "Does Hiawatha go in here?" I responded by asking what trailer we were in, he responded by saying Hiawatha, and then repeated his question. I love my co-workers.
Back when I used to work at burger king, I had a coworker who would make himself these huge burgers during slow periods and eat them in the back room or the freezer so he wouldn't get caught. One time he did get caught, and tried to pretend he wasn't eating a burger while he was eating the burger. He literally had it in his hands, as well as a mouth full, while arguing that he wasn't eating a burger. I don't know if he thought the manager was blind or stupid or what.
i once worked for a bitch who fired me for taking 2 hours lunch breaks when we were only allotted 30 minutes to be off the clock for lunch. fuckin' egregious offense right there, right? i mean shit, i'm off the clock man, it's not even like you're paying me for fucking off. i know people who fucked off all day long ON the clock.
about three months later i heard she was fired for marking merchandise as "damaged", which is disposed of and then claimed with insurance companies, and taking the shit home. apparently she'd been doing it for a year or more but got particularly bold after she felt she'd moved up far enough in the chain and became friends with the operations manager. between the two of them they ate up the entire damaged merchandise budget for 3 departments within a week of the new quarter. as if that weren't enough, she was wearing the stolen merch to work.
housewares, women's clothing and shoes. surprising!
We had a guy like that. He'd fuck up his emails, ditch them into the wrong sections if they were to hard, ignore all SOP, and he'd insult the customers by being overly aggressive with them over the phone and then deny it.
Even after they told him the system logs everything you do with emails, that all calls are recorded for Quality Control, and that he'd been sitting under a fucking security camera for weeks he denied it.
There must be a factory shipping these sorts of employees out. Everyone has the same 2 or 3 versions of "that guy" in their office.
that was an amusing misquote
All I could think of when I read Woozie's story was the guy I worked with.
"It wasent me. I diden do nafin".
I think much of the amusement I got from work is knowing half the intakes from school and wondering how much they'd fuck up before they got fired. We must have kept like 1/10th of every new intake.
yeah, i see the correlation when you put it that way, but i was looking more at the offense committed. woozie's retard coworker was stealing where yours was just behaving badly.
Truth be told I could imagine the guy I know in the exactly same position as the dude Woozie knew, spitting bits of processed cheese as he tries to make himself out like a saint.
Speaking of stupid/retarded "that guy" co-workers who else had the 20-something pampered single white girl who was pregnant and insisted on giving her child a stupidly outrageous black name that no white person should ever have?
We had 2 of them in our office. Working the shift and hearing them bounce names off each other was fucking torture.
to be perfectly fair, nobody should be subjected to terrible black people names. adding -axia or -quisha to any word does not a good name make
CAMERAQUISHA JENKINS
SHOEAXIA BROWN
Black women all have dart boards with syllables in them. When naming their children, they throw two to four darts, then add "ia" or "sha" at the end.
Or they name the child after someone they know, but instead of giving the child the exact same name, they try to butcher it as much as possible until it's hardly recognizable.
Then they add "ia" or "sha" to the end.
TAMPAXIA
shit, what was the one Heather's mom mentioned in the car? i can't recall
shit, i can't either
