Stopped watching when the rock left as well, tried watching it last week, was extremly boring.

Me and my buddies would always have a wrestlemania party, every single year. We'd pitch in, get some snacks and other assorted junk, and watch it up. We all lost interest around the time the Goldberg vs Lesnar match happened at Wrestlemania. I just remembered being REALLY let down after seeing it.
Rock and Sock connection bitches! if I remember when they teamed up, Mankind and the Rock. some of the best scenes ever. I believe Mankind's "this is your life" segment of The Rock is still the highest tv ratings for RAW ever.
Vince almost axed the whole idea thinking it was stupid and would fail.
but yea once Rock left, WWE just downhill.....
I like watching Batista and John Cena whip people, but other than that, I really haven't paid serious attention to it since I joined the Navy. After the Rock left it was rather lame, and 'Taker taking back old school was rather silly in my eyes.
I miss the Hardie Brother's, and Eddie Guerrero RIP.
I still watch wrestling every monday, maybe more out of devotion than actual interest. They've really dropped the ball in setting up new main event people and it shows when its always Triple H, Cena, and Orton at the top.
Though many of you bring up the Rock, if you want to see someone from WWE who is damned funny, go look up Santino Marella on youtube. He has my friends and I cracking up every week.
Btw, The_OG_Nelta, the Hardys are still around. Matt is out injured but Jeff is now the world champ on Smackdown.
And wrestling is "fake" but rather pre-determined.
In time maybe but the last few have been great considering where I'm living. I've moved a lot lately from Michigan, Florida, and Cali and it has been close by each time. We just meet up and since I know people in many different states its easy to have somewhere to crash.
When it comes to recapturing your youth I really don't want to spare the expense. If it wasn't for him getting the tickets I'm sure our contact would've dwindled long ago.
I only got back into wrestling from a 4-5 year hiatus from watching it, its something me and the girlfriend can sit and enjoy since I cant stand her reality shows, so it sorta gets the best of both worlds since she can get her drama.
Cant stand watching RAW honestly, the story is boring and predictable unlike the old days when you saw Austin drive in on a truck and Beer bath people etc, so I watch Smackdown since its more of a wrestling oriented show, something RAW sucks at honestly, and Chris Jericho who always seemed entertaining is there, though one of these new guys called John Morrison seems pretty hilarious and is a very unique wrestler.
This ones for you, then. YouTube - The Rock & Mankind vs Dudley Boyz (1/2)(Raw 12/13/99)
we are forgetting undertaker vs austin buried alive match.. :3
i watched wrestlemania, a black guy did a flip off a ladder and i was impressed, whoever that was he is my favorite
I haven't watched wrestling in years, I use to love it when HBK was in his prime and started D-Generation X. After he went on a hiatus it was all about Stone Cold and the Rock so that shit ruled too, and even during that I watched ECW when it was also in it's fucking prime, god man why couldn't wrestling stay awesome?![]()
If ECW still was what it use to be, I would fully support it.
Well since I know people that watch it now, someone let me know the times and channels stuff comes on because I honestly don't know anymore with everything changing every other season.
Oh shizzle Sgt. Slaughter to guest host Raw next week. Talk about a blast from the past
Pretty much after Stone Cold, Mankind and the rock left, WWE is now a "family show" so this leads me to asking this question to OP...What are you, 12?
edit- oh yeah and R.I.P Eddie =(
