Next gen Tarus look creepy. I mean, they would look basically the same if their heads were bigger...but normal sized is creepy. I am liking the graphics though.

Well the humes follow the generic "what jp think fake white people look like" template. Mithra looks younger and the taru heads looks pretty nice though the body shot looks creepy. Makes me ask: Am I playing FFT: Advance?

Elvaans looks striped out of the character creation. Galkans look like some Father character from an anime...with a tail?

I think the new Tarutaru look a bit creepy, but I'll wait until I see more images/videos before I stick with that assessment. Also, I think Blacksmith, Cook, Gardener and Fisherman sound more like crafts, but we'll see.

I am a bit disappointed there isn't a female Galka or male Mithra, but perhaps Squenix is simply waiting and hoping to torture us in the meantime. :D

Oh wow the silver haired Elf (isnt that what Richarrd used except with black hair?) looks way cooler than in XI. It seems like their heads are a little small for their bodies though.

Most of the guys I know that play male characters are married or have had a girlfriend for a long time, I guess at that point they're getting ass on a consistent enough basis that they don't care about "staring at a guy's ass" for hours on end, that's just what I've noticed though.

I'd like to see what the Tarus look like ingame, all the characters look like their heads are too small too me, so maybe it'll look better in game? I dunno, I really want to be a taru again but they have to be as cute as they were in FFXI.

I do wish Elvaan Females were shorter and slimmer, I've always been interested in playing one but they look too... butch, and in FFXI their animations were horrible lol.

The "horns" of the Hunter/Fielder (dude w/ the axe) look more like feathers adorning his hat (beret maybe?) to me. Anyone else think this or is the excitement for a possible FFXIV conversion of Gria helping people to see what they want to see? That glare definitely doesn't help but still...
