FFXIV BETA properly starting as close as this month !

I have entered SE website they want game testers and game masters for upcoming mmorpg "clearly FFXIV duh"

***Recent job postings on Square Enix’s European website show that a beta for Final Fantasy XIV may start as early as September.

Several job posts for Game Masters and Game Testers have appeared on the job page for Square Enix Europe. Each of the job openings requires the applicant be familiar with Final Fantasy XI, suggesting that the current support team for FFXI will be moved over into FFXIV.

Testing positions are said to have started towards the beginning of the month, which means that a closed or internal beta is currently being conducted. Game Master positions are said to be starting in mid-September making us guess that a beta could start shortly after.***

How long after beta began for XI was it released? I think SE is doing simultaneaus NA JP release dates so heres to hoping for Q1 2010 (I know it will likely be in October or later)

SE would never take away current FFXI game masters to FFXIV that would be super stupid because FF11 Game masters have experience that help with FF11 world not FFXIV, in FFXIV they would be just noobs


It's clear that they are looking for game masters and game testers for FFXIV not FF11 but they want people who is familiar with FF11 and mmorpgs in general

I didn't say they are good lol everyone know that GM sucks
but do you rather GMS with experience who suck or totally new GMS with absolutely no experience at all

Those lame FF11 GMS at least know how things are processed in ff11 moving them to FFXIV accomplish nothing and leave FF11 with new GMS "Start all over again in both games would be the end result"

I'm a guy and I have to admit they look cute and don't creep me out as much as the old tarus. they look more like small children.

The old Tarus didn't really creep me out though, I think they were the cutest video game characters ever, and I loved the way they looked. That's why I was kind of skeptical about how they look this time around, but it's starting to grow on me.

As long as I can have my pigtails like I did in FFXI I'm golden.

lol the really rounded bodies just seemed weird, that faces and hair were fine but the shape was just odd.

The only complaint I really have with them changing the body shape is still not giving them some kind of distinction between the guys and the girls (like boobs?) There were people I played FFXI with for years and didn't realize my character was actually a female taru for the simple fact that I always wore a hat, it was kind of depressing. I really hope they don't share everything between the guys and the girls this time around.

I will agree with adding something more female to the bodies. lol I could never ever tell any difference unless they said what they were. at least since it's HD you could maybe see boobs to tell the difference but maybe not. I was about to ask you too didn't they share everything as well?
