The only thing different between male and female Tarus were the /bow emote (guys did a bow and girls did a curtsey) and the blush emote (guys turned their face away and girls kinda swooned). That's the only thing I ever noticed between the two

I really hope they have the same hairstyle that mine had in FFXI, or something close to it. I know it's a new game and all, but for some people like me it's just dusting off your old character and playing in a new world

The only complaint I really have with them changing the body shape is still not giving them some kind of distinction between the guys and the girls (like boobs?) There were people I played FFXI with for years and didn't realize my character was actually a female taru for the simple fact that I always wore a hat, it was kind of depressing. I really hope they don't share everything between the guys and the girls this time around.

I hope I don't sound like too much of a perv wanting boobs on my taru lol.

I'm sure when someone starts figuring how to mod the game, we will see it

backgrounds, if you use photoshop, run the clouds filter then add noise make it monochromatic and gaussian then use gaussian blur and then lighting effects. You can end up with a nice textured wall effect.

Seriously. This has almost made trying other games painful. I hate using the mouse since having to type leads to a constant back and forth between between it and the keyboard. Plus it's a hell of a lot easier to just pivot my chair, prop my feet up on something, and just let my wireless chill in my lap while I play. Probably the only time I really sit up and focus on FFXI is for BC fights and such.

I agree. I personally dislike any point-click interactions when playing MMOs. FPS is fine though.
