Is there any point to MGS4 if I only got halfway through MGS1 and only played MGS3 for like an hour before losing interest? >_>

Playing it without the story would be fine imo, but if you got bored of 3 in an hour you probably wont enjoy 4 for too long anyway. Probably not worth it.

Where is the list of PS1 and PS2 games the 60gig will play over the 80 gig. I had not tried until the other night and my 80gig MGS4 bundle played every PS1 and PS2 game I still have. I thought they removed the emulators.

Absolutely not. MGS4 is 25% gameplay and 75% cutscenes. If you're not into the story itself I highly doubt you'll like it much.

Well, I kinda really liked MGS1, but I was playing it on my psp, and climbing that really long tower thing or w/e just really pissed me off or something, and I think I lost my save >_>

I think the 80gig MSG4 bundle was the last version to have the BC in it. It was the main reason I spent the extra money a few months ago to get it off amazon.

Which confuses me. I thought street date for release was the 1st, meaning 2-day shipping would get it to me on the 3rd. That apparently says I /should/ get it on the 27th? Or am I reading that wrong?

As far as I can tell Sept 1st is the date by which the slim will be available everywhere. Like I said earlier in this thread, my gamestop told me I can come pick it up on the 25th.
