Amsterdam is a lot of fun just being there this summer. I did the Anne Frank tour, a bus tour of Volendaam, Diamond Manufacturer, Windmills, Cheese/Clog factories...and there's always the Van Gogh muesum...

The Red Light district was a ton of fun...I followed a group of college girls into what was essential a fuck club. I'll forget the image of a girl "smoking" a cigar with her twat. I didn't get to see the banana show.

It's not true that they are required to have STD testing every week. Hell, not even every month. It's all voluntary so most girls go every 3 months, while some take the precaution of going every month. Most use condoms, but some will let that rule slide which I wouldn't go anywhere near them. Stay clear of Adam's apples, haha.

Marijuana/Hash isn't really "legal" per say, but instead the police turn a blind eye to it. You definitely should not get any outside of a coffee house...and stay away from the street dealers trying to get you to buy Coke, X, and what not. At least inside a coffee house, they have semi-control of the people who purchase it and they stay in one location.

As far as food goes, I'd try and find a village with fresh (raw) Herring. It's damn tasty. There's a lot of Argentinian rib joints that are pretty good too.

No matter where you go watch out for the bicycle lanes. If a tram doesn't floor you then a bicycle most likely will as those things can be lethal even when sober lol..
