Hey everyone, looking for some critiques on a pc I was thinking of putting together. Hoping this will play 14 decent on high or medium settings, been playing 800x600 crap for so long on my currently dying pc so looking to make a change.

I would spend $29 more and get one of the new nvidia GTX460's, or wait a bit and see if the price drops on the Radeon HD5850. The 460 will definitely outperform the 5830 by like 20-30%. (The 5850 is just barely better at -most- (but not all) things than the 460, but is currently priced at $300, I'd expect the price to drop now that the 460 is out)

Agree on that,the 5830 is not worth the money.better wait a bit more and the prices will drop - getting a pc just for the beta is a waste of money,better wait till september and get a better system

Not just for the beta, though the beta is a big part. My pc im usin for my sidejob stuff and class is finally dead so I'm needing to get a machine together soon & figured why not make it somewhat good for games lol.

That's a dualcore, you're really going to want a quad core at least.

can simple look up the processor if you dont know much not to hard to do some research on the product or what not i gave you a new egg link to show you what the processor was can click on specs under the new egg link and see its only dual core and cooleko also post a intel page link

Yesterday my beta ran like shit;

Q6600 Quad @ 2.4 (Dell BIOS)
4GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 5750

Got a 2800 on the benchmark, ran like shit when I was playing yesterday, definitely seemed like video lag.

Any opinions? I don't really have many upgrade options that I'm aware of.

Pretty sure it's the ATI card issue. The 5xxx are having the stutter effect from what I've read.

Got a queston for all u Cooler Master freaks. I am building a sick comp and need to know if all ATX E-ATX and micro ATX mobo's are compatable with the Cooler Master HAF-X series case.? RC-943-kkn1 HAFX ATX model.

Does it say that you don't have enough disk space on my documents? You could try moving it to another part of your hard drive (if you have more than 1)?

I've moved it to My Documents, Program Files, Desktop, etc. Same error each time.

Doesn't matter where it's located. You need to have at least 12GB free on the partition with My Documents.
