    pull 62 > 63

for 64 you need to aggro pull him, this forces him to move down the ramp some before spawning adds so you dont get casting idle (leading link). by the time he will spawn adds you should have already made it half way back to central area. when the black mage spawns... it will either run(moving out of linking range) or blaze spikes.

then finish 65 then get the TE or move everyone onto the ramp n sac pull the TE out of the tunnel along the central room (if you dont have time to clear)

when aggroing 64 you have to wait for 65 to make his turn and head north (left to left wall if you're standing in w/ the tunnel to your back) time it right and the eye+blm will get there cast off n be otw before 65 makes his rounds and links. due to elevation on the ramp you have to get closer than usually to initiate aggro on the eye.

for the first few attempts have a rdm stand at the tunnel. after aggroing 64 and the mobs spawn.. have the rdm run in and silence the blms jic the pullers aggro timing was late. if it does link the rdm will be the 1 with hate and he can die leaving you with pull 65+1blm to do the next pull. (be nice if rdm full buff n try to sleep as many mobs as possible if he links, will buy you time to space out the pulls and not get a massive rap on the allie.

We did our first Xarcabard run last night since posting this thread. For our run we only had 3 BLM, so sniping eyes was somewhat problematic. We had a SCH in the BLM party tho, and hailstorm/thunderstorm enabled obis allowed us to snipe most of the eyes, but even 1 resist caused problems.

After the eye wall (which we did for the first time w/o a wipe by pulling the middle eyes/kindred first to break the wall - this worked out great), we headed east and eventually up the ramp to eyes 106-109. The strategy suggested in this thread worked like a charm. We sniped each of the 4 eyes and pulled their kindred spawn w/o aggroing the additional eyes.

After killing this set of mobs it opened up the entire upper platform to us. Each set of pulls here involves 2 eyes, and 4/5 kindred per pull. I thought that this would make clearing this area a breeze. Unfortunately, the thing I neglected to consider was that each pull in this upper area spawns kindred that are a nuisance to fight. For each pull, there were always at least 2 additional pet spawns due to DRG or BST kindred. So, although the pulls may seem small on paper, there was always around 6+ mobs to sleep. The worst was the 113/114 pull which was 3 SMN and 2 BST for a total of 10 mobs to try to keep slept.

I think in the future that going up that ramp is likely not worth the effort. In total we ended up having to kill 7 wyvern pets and 5 BST pets. So, even though on this run we killed more mobs than our last run (all with no wipes), we actually killed more kindred on our last run since we didn't waste nearly as much time fighting DRG and BST pets.

if ever low on blms without top notch gear, i would consider bringing a cor and have him put up wiz/warlocks roll for eyes, there is always someone who resist. and WHEN you do resist double quick drawn can clean up the misshap before the spawn demons can link to the eyes. having odd job SCHs and RDMs with different cast speeds is tedious to have them get the timing down.

I've got a personally made map at home on my desktop, and a list of mob jobs/quantities for various pulls along with it. I'm on vacation atm so I can't access that. I've been asked to do a writeup for xarc stuff for awhile now so when I get home I'll try to contribute what I can. Nothing comprehensive though, I've almost only ever done 12-18 semi-pickup groups.

Something I liked to do for low man was farm west and kill 97&98 near the eye wall. Then we'd go up the ramp and I'd sac to the west while everyone else went east. Then they'd continue to pull and I'd sac myself onto their side again when the coast was clear. There are good low-man pulls up there. 4 easy pulls of 2 eyes and 6 mobs each.
