that's actually pretty interesting. making corsets or really anything to wear out of leather must be some seriously intricate work. what do you use to give them their shape? how long does it take to make one? do you just make pieces for yourself kind of as a hobby or do you sell your work also?

Back injury right now so I am not making anything. I do make products for self and for business. I can make corsets by sewing or by leather. There are molded leather types, riveted types, primitive lace up types, all kinds. Molded leather is a pain in the ass, requires waxing and processing. I prefer conditioned leather that is pliant but has firmness. I am more specialized in the gear, like making strapon harnesses, gay leather daddy/boy supplies, cock sleeves the "gear".

I also make popular stuff like spiked collars and all of that. I get some crazy requests. Some clients remind me of 7?/hannibal? when that guy requested the custom evisceration strapon blade penis thing from the shop. I refuse anything that is too dangerous but everything is stringently disclaimer.

I am only annoyed with it when they become too needy or Dependant or if they disregard my personal/emotional space and privacy. I consider it a gift so I don't mind as long as I have control of my output. Been told I have the ability to heal others emotionally through consoling them. It is an intimidating and serious realization but I accepted it after a bit of rebellion. I just need to have my own barriers and ability to choose when and when not to listen or open to others.

seriously though, back injuries are beyond shit, hope you recover quickly. i always found the ability to create something that has utility, like clothing/shoes/furniture/etc to be really interesting. it's also amazing how some people can take materials that cost $250 or so, combine it in an interesting way, and then sell it to someone else for $1000. it's really astounding how much people will pay sometimes.
