Only thing worse than that is a guy on my friends list on FB who uses FiOS. Apparently there's some kind of app or some shit that updates his status as to what he's watching on TV like, every time he changes the channel or some stupid bullshit.

LJ is having issues as well- just tried to access my friends list on my bberry and it timed out. My FB app is working though.

Basically, it means that the code is timing out because it can't complete the connection so it thinks you aren't even connected to the Internet.

It just means that when the scripts that run Facebook tried to open a connection to the servers, the connection failed for some reason. Could be anything.

Appreciate the info. Wondered if this was related to denial of service attack.

Lately the things that piss me off on facebook are:

Attention whores posting updates every 5-30 minutes, most comments being "i'm bored" or saying "I'm gay/lesbian" just to attract attention
Sticking over 9000 NOT EXAGGERATING of their baby(s)'s photos online and even making it their display pic; sure, you're proud of your kids, but everytime when I log on to see that you've posted 5-10 albums of 60 photos of you're fucking baby I WILL hate you; by the way I hate babies, dirty, slimy, noisy.... shits

I've blocked out all the apps so I rarely get any. So they're not too bad right now.
