if you need a RDM and WHM in your melee parties coupled with a Bard your WHM sucks,

We have 2 parties 4x DD WHM,BRD most melee with relics all using Hasso fulltime

quasi tank party with PLD/WAR, WHM, BRD other 3 slots usually extra melee or 1 RDM/DRK

1 BLM party with G horn.

We zerg all the bosses and do a 2 bard party rotation on the 2 melee parties with MAR,MAR,MIN,MAD

Have only lost 1 Einherhar in the last 13 monthes, attendence is usually 20-25

The latter 3 are mutually exclusive. If Angon is up, stick with that, if no one's angon timer is up, use one of the latter two. Make sure that your BLU pays attention, the weaker def down from the blue magic will overwrite Angon's 20% if used after it.
Good to know. Normally don't have more than one drg so can't keep angon up 100% of the time.

Which is retarded since Frightful Roar is 10% def down, Angon is 20 but it's how SE rolls (reminds me of all the lowbie XP parties back in 2004 with daft BLMs spamming Bio II when all I wanted to do was keep Dia II on). Also, if you're zerging the boss don't forget that Spirit Surged Jump gives 20% def down but the effect is not of constant duration like Angon nor do they stack. Shouldn't matter if the mob dies in under a minute but if the fight lasts longer it's better not to use Jump when under Spirit Surge and just Angon (at least if your Angon has more than just one merit in it).
This. Also note that DRG's 2hr goes to waste when using it in conjunction with Haste + 2hr Marches. Spirit Surge is a magic based 25% Haste, thus it's best to Angon > Wait for Angon to wear off > 2hr Jump.

I <3 cors in the melee parties, way better than a 4th DD imo

3 parties of WHM BRD COR DDx3
    1-2 rdm/drk
A couple blms and a pld
    3 mules for feathers

Anything else helps, but extra DD is fluff usually. Remember that mobs die very fast in this setup as it is, and adding more DD doesn't necessarily increase killspeed by much if mobs are dying before some people even engage. 9 DD with 2x march and 2x cor roll will tear through anything the chambers throw at you, and 6x brd songs 2x rolls for boss dominates those. CORs also have the chance of resetting JAs/TP, which is awesome and only takes a 3 or above. If they reset DD 2hours as well it's hard to lose.

2x march, any combo of chaos/fighter's/sam roll for 2handers is usually good. We have melee use mithkabobs on t1/t2 and pizza on t3/odin but it shouldn't matter much, any kind of meat will do the job since 95% of ein mobs don't evade worth a damn anyway. I don't feel the need to rotate bards until the boss since meat+dia2/3+chaos roll is most likely putting the DD at or near attack cap, and accuracy isn't an issue in Ein at all, but it works well for some groups too so it may be worth trying if you're having problems.

Most important roles are the puller keeping mobs coming, the sleepers keeping shit zzzed, and the assist swapping to mobs before they die so you are always fighting something. Hardest part of any of those 3 roles is doing it with the Einherjar lag. Rotate bards on boss and kill it before it can kill you.

This. There's so many mobs in Einherjar with damage resistances, and Tomahawk makes a joke out of them. It seriously cuts down the kill time on things like slimes and skeles (unless you have loads of mnks, which my group never has). If your warriors don't already have Tomahawk, but some pressure on them to merit it, and remind them that the NPC which sells the item for it is in Nashmau anyway, so they have no excuses.

We have 2 alliances each of them:
    BLMx5 COR
PLD, WHM, RDM BRD DD x2
    DDx4 BRD RDM

Or as close as we can get. Some RDM are /DRK when needed. Pretty consistent wins with 2 pullers. We also do BRD swapping when we can.

Looks pretty solid to me. You also have to have luck on your side. Dark Elemental floors are killers in my experience

I don't understand why people take PLD into einherjar... We do all our crowd control with blu.

    we do:

    blux2/rdm/sch/whm
    ddx3/cor/brd/whm
    ddx3/cor/brd/whm

    blmx3/rdm/sch
    ddx3/brd/rdm

Normally we 2box a rdm/drk in just in case it is needed. We always have at least 1 drg and 1 thf.

RDM BRD DDx4 is a bad fucking setup for Einherjar. You're way better off removing a DD and getting a WHM in there.

Yep totally agree. We changed from those types of setups to cor/brd/whm.

You will also notice that the biggest cock-block in T3 are the shadow dragons. They often spawn with double their normal HP, and they can sing either Voidsong which is full-dispel, or Nullsong which is full-dispel plus damage for every buff you had on.

The reason I use the setup I posted above is for this situation. Melees losing all their buffs is a major momentum killer, but if you silence the dragons then they wont be able to use their songs. However, when silenced they will spam Body Slam, Chaos Blade, and Flame Breath instead. Body slam will make quick work of melees without shadows, Chaos Blade will punish your top DDs because they tend to use Flame Breath immediately afterward.

Having Stoneskin, Phalanx, 2 sources of Cursna and 3 sources of cures helps tremendously in the lag. I also try to stick the same people in the same parties each and every time. This is so the mages get used to working with each other and they know what to expect from each melee. Regularity breeds success in this case.

    Tank party:
2 PLD/WARs - One Will be a primary assist, the other a secondary assist.
    BRD
    WHM
    RDM
    Random Melee

    BLM party(ies):
Don't think I need to explain this.

    The DD parties:
3dd, whm or rdm, bard, cor
    or 4dd, brd, rdm(or whm)

Unfortunately we don't have enough CORs to put into every melee party.

If the mob is squishy and has lower HP, we will use two assists, with atleast two melee parties assisting each pld. If the mob has high defense and high HP, the second PLD and his melee parties will assist the other pld and take out the mobs in the wave one by one quickly.

For bosses, we use a timed BRD/SV rotation in DD pts. (Nothing special)

We've been using this set up since our old linkshell, and I personally think it's pretty efficient for clearing waves and wings with ease.

....Unless you get a shitty chamber and run out of time. ( 3 waves of high HP Eyes, Puddings, Skeles Q_Q)

You would improve your setup considerably if you got rid of the paladins. There's about as much need for them in Einherjar (save Odin's Chamber) as there is in Dynamis.

We do great as is with that set up, and average an Odin every two weeks (Any strong LS should anyway).

We could, and in some cases maybe we should. Me and my co tank both have pretty buff DD jobs and could still MA on them. But I guess it's nice to have the paladins and not need them, then need them and not have them. Having two people ready to tank/kite things if shit hits fan is nice. (Boss aggro, small wipe, etc)
