Elzen is the only good name and race.
Elzen is the only good name and race.
Miqo'te for some reason reminds me of ricotta cheese.
The story and intro is interesting from what they posted and the site seems to be easing up a bit lol.
also totally unrelated but in a way the site being overrun is a good thing and shows that there is some genuine interest in this game across the web
maybe it wont be a dead game ->
Yeah. I've got a friend who doesn't have much time to play games, and doesn't like playing by himself, so this will definitely be good.
why is asking me to allow llnwd.com? when only moments before that wasn't an option?
EDIT: The opposite of casual, in the sense you are using it, has nothing to do with learning curve.
The high learning curve is why I stayed.
For folks who can't get in... Only info I saw was that some ancient crystal technology (Aetherite) is scattered across the world. Allows you to teleport nearly instantaneous across the world. The guild gives you the leves that, from the description, remind me of Assault. Says these cards can open previously restricted areas through the Aetherite crystals, so really, it just sounds like a way to access instanced content. Would make sense with their claims that you can accomplish tasks with even an hour to spare - grab a card, hit the nearest crystal, teleport in to the instanced quest, and come back. Also seems like a group can accompany you for these quests, and only one person needs to have the leve in their possession.
Think they mentioned the Aetherite before, and I know the leves were explained a little this week, but I think that clarified things a lot better than anything I saw before.
And then the site went to crap on me. Seems funny, but the JP site looks to have a lot less details than the NA site...
I just hope in their attempt to make the game more casual they don't turn it into WoW and make it incredibly easy.
Staying up late camping HNMs has nothing to do with learning curve. Neither does farming pop sets or requiring large to-level exp requirements. That is not difficulty and doesn't require learning. While it is true that both difficulty and fat are trimmed down simultaneously to make a simple experience, understand that they are two different things. The best games have high learning curve and little in the way of that.
EDIT: Once I allowed llnwd.net, it worked perfectly. Before it was freezing up at "0" everytime I clicked an option.
As much as I complained in the past about grinds/seeking/drop rates I still wouldn't want shit handed to me. I wanna get a sense of accomplishment when I'm done, ya know?
Who the fuck is talking about HNMs?
"...deep in the mountains of Ul'dah, live mountain clans of reclusive Roegadyn (galka) known as the Hellsguard, said to have mastered the magical arts"
Galka are the new Hume, only better. You heard it here first, kids.
fuck the races naming, im sticking with elvaan, hume, mithra, galka, taru when im playing
Aetheryte are like teleport crystals only anyone can use them and apparently you can damage yourself if you use them too much... "As a precaution most city-states strongly discourage over-teleporting, as it can lead to irreversible damage..."![]()
