Extra Life Charity Event, Round 2! FIGHT!

So we're back again. Once again, the same people for the same charity with some added twists. And now take it away my partner in crime, Aniero:

Thanks Zero, hey everyone on BG! Are you as excited for Extra Life 2009 as I am?!
I hope you are because we’re setting up some pretty cool stuff for this year’s Extra Life! As some of you no doubt heard on the last episode, we’re planning on expanding on last years festivities! So far, Pet Food Alpha, FFXIClopedia, RadioXI and Vana’diel Profiles have all joined the Extra Life cause and will be helping us bring you the LIVE 24 hour webstream! There is plenty of time before Extra Life 2009, so who knows who else will join the effort.
Just like last year, members of Team Limit Break Radio and all the other associated teams will be able to hang out with us on Ventrillo and become part of the 24 hour webcast experience. But wait, that’s not all.
For Extra Life 2009 we have moved the festivities this year to Auburn Hills, Michigan, a suburb or Detroit, where we’ll be hosting all 24 hours of the webstream from the Timbuktu Cafe internet and LAN arcade at the Great Lakes Crossing Mall! So, on Saturday October 17'th 2009 come on down to the Timbuktu Cafe between 10am and 9pm and pay the Timbuktu Cafe’s normal play rates, hang out with us, and be part of the festivities.
After 9pm (or some time around there) we will begin the lock-in. Now, seats are limited for the lock-in, so what we’re going to do is auction off seats for the lock-in starting at $40. All the proceeds from the auctions will go to Extra Life. The auctions will begin in August and be accepting bidding for a week.
We want to encourage anyone who is in the area to come join us. We also wish to encourage anyone who would like to travel to become part of Extra Life 2009 to do so as well. For the past few weeks I’ve been trying to get group rates from local hotels near the Great Lakes Crossing Mall. So far I’ve been unsuccessful, so here’s a listing of hotels near Auburn Hills, MI.
Now, depending on how many people are going to attend in person, we may or may not have a secondary site where everyone who isn’t able to get a seat in the lock-in can continue to play and hang out together. It’s hard to say at this time.
We will keep you posted if anything changes. I’m going to keep trying to get some group rates on some nearby hotels. We really would love to have a bunch of people show up and play games with us, so if you’re thinking about coming, please do!!

Alright then. So for those of you around and even those not I encourage you to get some people together for a good cause. Hell. If I can raise $96 in a week, I'm sure you can too. And besides, you have an excuse to play video games all day. Hee hee! For the win!
