they aren't cheap because they're common, which they still aren't. they're cheap because the people putting them on the ah are idiots. they could be selling them for 1m+ easily. I guess they don't realize what they have. (blm jse feet, HQ would probably sell for 40M+)

HQ is a T1, so not nearly that price. But yes still rare and valuable.

After I turn in each batch, which normally runs between 15-30, I go through each of my inventory slots to be ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE I haven't already gotten the saber shoot.

My search has yielded nothing of interest....UNTIL TODAY....


MY GOD! HOW MANY FISH HAVE I TURNED IN NOT SEEING IT BEFORE? HOW MUCH MONEY HAVE I WASTED? I'VE HAD THE DRAT THING FOR AT LEAST A YEAR!

Of course! That isn't just any ordinary pole on display next to the guild sign! No, no, it's the saber shoot, in all it's unbroken glory! But what's this? It seems to be fastened in place...there's no way for me to pry it from it's hinges, and take it to Irmilant to put the fishing line on it! Curses, foiled again!

Well, at least I know what's been keeping me from getting my OTHER saber shoot. And there's only one solution. ::drops guild sign::

In other news, should have enough GP points in the next few days to simultaneously get my Fishing Hole Map and Mooching. Both rather useless things at this point, but the map will look nice in my house, and the mooching will (hopefully) come in handy for fishing up a trophy Matsya down the line.

Edit: Jeyman has the record for number of Gugru turned in (1140), as had been noted before. I am 275 away from breaking that record. I'm not quite sure how to feel about that. Honestly, though, I'd rather break the record than get my item just a few fish before it...I'd like to be the best (or worst?) at SOMETHING out of all of this.
