Sure do it for completeness once. Doing it a 2nd time doesn't make sense because you can sell that moat carp for 4mil+

An ill-timed /hurray, that I like to think looks like I'm posing with my good friend Irmy with my hand on his shoulder. Though, if you look closely enough, it looks as if I'm punching the back of his head with my fist...

Tested out my ebisu rod on some Liks. Caught a couple, and of course had a couple line breaks. Can't say just how much easier it is using it compared to Lu's, though I was able to pull them up without too much effort using only an albatross ring. When I used Lu's, I never tried it without a penguin ring, so I can't really compare experiences.

In other news, I sold the 42 leftover gugrusaurus I had to a friend of mine on Carbuncle...

...he got his saber shoot. 1/20. So let that be a lesson to everyone on Carbuncle: Buy my fish, because I don't have an ounce of bad luck left in me to give you. All my fish are super lucky.

Also! It's my birthday! (October 19th, so it is in some parts of the world at least) As part of a birthday gift, my brother decided to send me this:

Obviously I never gave him a written IOU note, but this is the interpretation he had if I were to have done just that (and then if he had edited it later). Note every single thing is misspelled because I'm a "lolGalka." So, he cut my debt in half which, because I sold all those gugrus today, I was able to pay off! So now I am officially debt free!

~_~ grats. I think gugs tend to suck more then lik... Lol I had the same prob as you 1000+ gugs and under 200 lik.(tho your lik was a tad higher still 200-400 fish I could deal with, at 1000 I just about quit as well.)

The fishers forum I think is one think that was keeping me going for the E rod, seems it might of been that way with you too.

Small update: I can't decide whether my ebisu fishing rod came with a blessing or a curse.

The 42 left over gugru I had when I got my saber shoot were sold to a friend on my server. He had never turned in any gugru, and he ended up going 1/20 with the ones I gave him. If I understood correctly, the leftover fish from that batch (22) left were given to another fellow, wherein he got his saber shoot, too!

This other fellow then decided he wanted to start buying liks, so I sold him a bunch, and he ended up getting his opal silk that very day.

So, as I said, I'm not sure whether it's a blessing or a curse. My rod has the power to get people their ebisu items in a jiffy, so that's a definite plus for them. But darn, I'm going to ruin the market on ebisu fish if everyone gets an ebisu rod within only a few days D:

Just fish up your Liks/Gugs and go bazaar them in Selbina next to our friendly neighborhood fish gutter before bed each night. Provided your rates are reasonable they will likely be gone in the morning. From time to time you'll end up with someone relatively unlucky (like me) who will buy everything you manage to fish up each day. In my case I had two ppl selling me all of their Gugru for a few weeks, both of which I met via their Selbina bazaars. I think one of them made 11m off me lol... I had a 3rd guy lined up to sell to me but he tried to jack the price on me after each batch of fish. He'd probably have made another 5m off me had he not pulled that.
