1/387 Gugs, 1/68 Liks. The irony is that I got the Lik item about 12 trades right after my Gug item. So, all in all a very nice day for me despite the fact I took myself down to 150K in gil across all my characters doing this. Shoutouts to Cdgreg and Upbeat on Odin for the discounts on fish and the bulk supplies. ...but I still have to wait until next Sunday to get my rod. Zaldon is just such a cunt. ^.^v

Wow, I figured I'd read this thread since I'm trying to get my ebisu since fishing became my new thing during my limited play time session.. But now I'm even more scared!
Got super lucky on Gug's from what I've seen, 0/328 on lik's as of a few minutes ago.

So logged in this morning with yesterday's Lik haul to hand in.... my fishing buddy Hyshio has got Woodworking up, so we're able to repair our rods pretty quickly...
Decided to be nice to Zaldon today:

Bought 15 Gug's off AH and Hyshio fished me up 10 since he got lucky on his item last week.

1/89 Lik, 1/96 Gug's (I believe, have to check my bazaar comment). Got lucky on the Gug's and I bought them all/got them from Hyshio. I was supposed to start fishing them tomorrow :D
