1/29 on gugs and 1/300 on lik, spent 2 years on it, i was about to quit (sell account and gil and shit i was all ready with all my shit sold), and i had like 4 gugs on me, i got the item, i raged i was like "SERIOUSLY FF? Well, at least in my own experience, I had spent all my gil, and sold off all items worth 100k+ on my character, AND had borrowed ~4 million gil from my brother before I got my last ebisu item (I couldn't sell the lu shang, since that, too, is my brother's). I can easily imagine someone quitting who had sold all their gear, especially so if they sold their lu shangs.

the reason you see the "OMG OMG OMG" in every post is because even though most parts of the game hold out and give you little, very few dont give you SOMETHING, most of the rare items drop at a decent rate, or will drop something in its place that someone will want.

in this you dont even get the "lol you cant have this D ring here i a pixie earring" its just "you fail" for upwords of 1000+ times...
