I hit 27.4 fishing and decided to see if I could trade fish to Zaldon. I had 18 Lik that a friend sold to me cheap (He was helping me get one for the competition). On the 6th trade I got Opal Silk! So 1/6 Lik and 0/2 Gugs XD I'd post picks but on xbox and camera phone isn't great :/

he botted the fuck out of it day and night, sometimes waking me up in the middle of the night to try and get me to fish with him so i could get him fish for free. Hes not to be trusted with anything. Fuck him.

People are going to be more likely to report really good or bad records, so this thread probably doesn't offer an accurate picture of average luck.

We need more crap records, though, to make me feel less lonely.

E: Also, I'm on the road atm, so if they update zaldon to accept matsya, I may not be the first to spam him with my stock. Will do it as soon as I get home, assuming the dats have a nice potential item drop from him.

bad luck is bad luck. It all even outs in the end tho, I had almost as bad luck as him. We will go 1/1 on something else and you will go 1/1000+ on something else(well maybe not 1000) although random, the odds will always even out in the long run ~_~ it just wont even out on this quest because once your done your done lol

I like to think of the game like this, helps me not go nuts when I hit a dry spell on anything. ex) going 2hours without hooking a lik >.> then ill land like 6 in 20min !_! and im happy lol

Took something close to 750 gugs to finally get my 2nd item -.-; And of course I'm fishing gugs with Lu Shangs and no WW level'd, had 100 leather. So it took a LOT of trips to Rabao.

On the subject of people getting really easy ebisu's.

My brother's character went 1/2 Lik, 1/9 gugrusaurus. He was the first person I helped after finishing mine.

I wanted to puke, having gone over 500 combined (and paying about 20k at the time for most of those).

My most recent ebisu took well over 900. Bleh
