I have literally gotten both items within 15 minutes of each other on the same character. The fact that I got them very shortly after the weeks tally and had to wait almost an entire week for turn-in was SE's little way of punching me in the dick about it, but I was still happy anyways.

I started on my long term slog for the rod, motivated by the fact that I can get skill while I catch dammed Liks.

I know i'm not the highest, but currently at:

1/14 on Gugs.
0/707 on Lik. Sigh. So frustrating after hearing so many people seeing it under 100, but then I was amazingly lucky with the shoot so this must be the payback

A guy I was recently selling to in heavy bulk went something like 1/1600 on gugs and probably around 1/400 on liks. He was the only person I have ever felt genuinely bad for and gave free fish to.

can i bitch that fishing GP is fucking stupid? Well it is. fishing gp is fucking stupid. lvl 80 and its cheval salmon for 1680. my mule is 35 and she gets icefish for 3600. /sigh.
