Windows 7 and IME

i'm currently running 32-bit windows 7 RC, and windower runs great and all, FFXI doing great

the problem comes with IME. i can type in kana in AIM, and in all my text applications (notepad, MSWord, etc.), and even on internet websites.

the problem is doing it on FFXI. i can get IME to load, and it makes my font green so that i have to press enter twice to enter text/command...but it won't allow me to switch to kana. i have to switch my system language over to jpn before opening POL, and THEN i can use kana, but it always gets stuck in kana when i try and switch


if anyone has any idea what the problem might be, any assistance is very much appreciated

Ifi remember Windows said IME wasn't working well with windows 7 yet

I can type in Russian or Japanese just fine on mine. Perhaps there are some languages that aren't supported yet?

i can type in japanese in everything FFXI. was wondering if anyone knew of any workaround or patch to the IME windower plugin that would allow me to do so o.o

IME and Windower has been unusable since Vista. There is no workaround as of yet other than using Snowknight's IME input (assuming it still works, not sure and not at home to check)
