Fenrir (NIN/DNC)

Alright so I'm gonna try a solo on NIN/DNC vs. Fenrir, and I tried looking for info on wiki and on BG, but couldn't find any relevant information. Basically what I'm wondering, what's there that's really threatening in this fight? My evasion gear is pretty top-knotch, and I'll be full-timing it. I also understand it can 2-hour twice? Best to fight during Lightsday or does day play a role in this fight?

I'm pretty sure Fenrir's 2hr can't one-shot you from capped HP, but if you want to play it really safe you could switch to swords around 60% HP and build TP for Flat Blade. You really shouldn't have any problems at all with it... as I've said before, I have a video of a NIN/THF soloing it with meds, so it should be cake with /DNC.

When I've solo'd it on RDM/NIN I've never even seen Fenrir come close to one shotting me with his 2hr, even when I forgot to put SS up.

I've spent a lot of time TRYING to solo it, top-notch EVA gear etc. I know of at least one video of a NIN/THF soloing it, it still resists hojo/jubaku quite a bit without macroing in ele staves. 2 Hour isn't that big of a problem, it only does ~800 damage. An Eclipse Bite without shadows will one shot you, each hit from it does ~450 damage. Bring a few remedies in case you do get paralyzed and healing waltz doesn't erase it first try. As soon as you see it ready Lunar Roar start casting Ichi/Ni, Ni preferably. It can keep swinging at you as it readies abilities, and has no wait time after it uses them, at least in all of my experience with it.
