Final Fantasy XIV Famitsu Giveaway!

I will be playing FFXIV. Want to use a Miqo'te, Seeker of the Sun, and plan on going with Discipline of War.

As I've done with FFXI, I plan to get both versions (PC and PS3). I'll likely be playing only on the PC, but it's nice to have options. Sometimes you'd just rather sit on the couch and veg out.

I plan to be playing alongside my wife, which sorta legitimizes buying both copies.

I play an Elvaan now. I started off wanting to be THF main, but once I realized the THF stigma back in 2004, I put it on the back burner, and my social shell back then needed more healers, so I leveled WHM and it eventually became my first 75. I still want to play a light-armor class, but this time I think I'll roll a Galka-that-starts-with-r.

We're both very excited about being able to join a new game in its infancy and witness its growth from the beginning. Discover things and make mistakes WITHOUT a Brady guide. More than anything, though, I just want to explore!

Definitely going to be be Miqo'te (sun or moon, dunno yet, depends on looks and stats)
I'll probably use all the customization options to make something unique, but not overstated. Hopefully we'll have lots of freedom in picking Miqo'tes facial markings!

Gridania, If I can't or shouldn't start there (nation starter rings), I WILL be moving there.

Unless something better gets announced I'll likely go Disciple of the Hand - Blacksmith & w/e other crafts. With Weapons and Armor seeming to be very important in FFXIV, it seems smart to be someone who can create such things.
I'll likely sideline in Disciple of the Land. From the race page, it sounds like Miqo'te have some leanings toward it, so should make up for it being my secondary.

Gonna be a mithra, er miqo'te. Don't know which side yet, whichever is sexier >_>. I was an elvaan pld in ffxi so I plan to take the warrior/meat shield route again. Going to try to steal the name Thanatos.

Going to be playing FF 14 from it's release date and also hopefully playing it when ever it's beta starts. I plan to be either elvaan or galka in it. In 11 I've pretty much been an elvaan samurai my whole live in the game so I hope that great katanas return as one of the weapon classes.

I'll be in 14 for sure. I plan to do lalafel. I always wanted to be a taru in 11, but I made the mistake of being a mithra twice. I'm likely to be whatever support class; "Enchanter" or whatever for my first "job" then a dps job afterwards.

A couple friends and I are striking it out together in XIV. Rolling a Lalafell this time around (though nocturnal mithra is tempting me to roll a manthra again). I honestly can't decide between bst,blm and thf flavors... I've always wanted to play all 3 of those and just never got around to it in 4+ years of FFXIing. I'd also like to take up fishing, was something I always wanted to do in XI and just never got around too. Had to edit in that I'll more than likely start in Gridania cause it seems the most laid back from the concept art we've seen so far.

I plan to play as Elezen I think this time around, I did enjoy playing as a cute taru but I always hated having all that special gear but you couldn't tell the difference if I had it on or nothing at all(and I hated that the male and female shared dats). I hope to get into the beta asap, but if that's not happening if there is a collector's a edition I may just bite. Whether I buy it for PC or PS3, I'm not quite sure atm, maybe I'll buy one for both. I'm definitely going to be a mage class, WHM or BLM equivalent.

As of now my plan is to go either Miqo'te or Lalafell(male) and a type of ranger/archer class, what ever is available. I was a Hume in FFXI but they're to plain and boring! Not sure where I'll be starting just yet as the only city-state with a description so far is Limsa Lominsa, but hell I'll probably start there it sounds so interesting.

I'll probably be picking this up for PS3 since that's what I'll have :D I think I'll be a Miqo'te this time around, though since oddly huge heads on tiny things still have a fascination for me so maybe I'll go the Taru-like ;D

I think I'll start out a DD this time, I really enjoyed playing RNG and SAM so if there's something like that -- I'm done with healers for now!

I'm probably going to do what I did in FFXI, choose Hume (Hyur) and then "level" all of the mage type jobs. Might mess around on other things, especially since crafting seems to be a job as well. So much to do, so long until the game comes out. =(
