Final Fantasy XIV Famitsu Giveaway!

I'm going to get the game for whichever platform I decide to get first next year on day one.

This time I will start out on the mage route as an elv-whatsaname. I still want to do a phys job later tho.

I can start fresh as opposed to 3-4 years after release on ff11. Gonna get craftin this time round!

I'll be getting this on both PS3 and CPU on release date.(Or Beta if I get chosen)

I'll be a Lalafell female, since I loved being a Taru in XI. Most likely will keep my same name of Harajuku. To start I'll probably go PLD route, and hopefully they're generous to Taru tanks this time around. After that I'll work on a mage, then a DD(warrior or something similar, since it was one of my fav jobs in XI.) Actually, after PLD I may try to work on crafting early on since crafting was most profitable in the early days of FFXI(Though I hope it says pretty consistant throughout FFXIV's entire history)

Most of my RL friends are more "Zomg WoW" so I'll probably be rolling on a random server, unless some of my friends from FFXI want to roll on the same server.

I'll be rollin' as an Elvaan (Elezen) again this time around. Though I'll probably start out with a mage first off then some others. I went melee for the first 3 jobs when I picked up FFXI so I want to switch it up some. Will be playing on both PC and PS3.

I'm going to try out Hyur this time, or maybe even Roegadyn. I'd like to go for something much more brawny/grissly.

I want to start in Limsa Lominsa as it currently stands, and I feel extremely overwhelmed at the possible job and craft choices, as I worry about just how much the system will let me take things.

I would say I'll try to go the path of a tank(PLD?) who can upkeep armor extremely well, possibly forging or repairing it for others, just sounds sort of cool.

Was a hume in XI think im going to go elf in XIV and start off as fighter/pld route till if they add something close to samurai again. The 3 new city-states went a long way to selling on XIV i was pretty ify on playing XIV till i saw the seaside city.

I was Hume in FFXI, but really like look of the Roegadyn in FFXIV, so I will probably roll as one. Going to start off as mnk (or a job like one) as I never even messed around with mnk in FFXI

I will definetely be picking up FFXIV for the PC and will play as soon as Beta is available. (Need to get a better video card, too. Still running a Nvidia7600)

Little hard to tell at the moment what I will be playing class wise. A little more information on the classes would be nice. -If- the second Mage class is going to be similar to Summoner, like it's sounding, I will be going that. If not, then an Archer til hopefully a pet class is released in the future.

If we have a choice, Gridania will be where I start. And of course, Miqo'te. (Again, if we have a choice: Moon)

Shame I couldn't get the boyfriend to play. I showed him the trailer when it came out and he actually said it looked like something he'd play... then he asked, "PVP?" I then told him of the failure in FFXI that was Ballista/Brenner. He didn't like the reliant party system of XI and liked that this one seemed more solo friendly, but no PVP/good PVP(if they put Ballista type games in again) killed the deal.

I'll be playing FFXIV as a hume again, and some sort of form of Blue mage!

Going to be a good old Hyur. Probably any job that uses spear or if there is a blue mage type job, I'll be that. Can't wait for this :D

Most likely Miqo'te, most likely start in Limsa, most likely start as a fighter>archer unless the magery is too much for me to stay away from :D

Assuming there are Male Miqo'te - that, if not, back to tar...lalafel. Crafting is a sure thing, I'll have to see how the rest of it works though considering how many jobs I went with in 11. . .

A Hyur, with a concentration in Discipline of Magic (Some form of Black or Red Mage), and totally dabbling Discipline of the Land this time.

Want to do Lalafell since I'm a taru in XI but could do Miqo'te if they have low HP like tarus. Probably gonna try out fighter to start since I started as mage type jobs in XI then realized I loved melee jobs.
