Unless something earth shattering comes down, I'll be rolling Elezen and take the path of the warrior/tank related role. Love me some tanking from FFXI and it'll be hard to get away from that, especially if the melee fighting is more involved.

I will also be fishing again most likely as I loved that as well in FFXI. Crafting will also be a must!

I will start as a Rogadyn from Isgard. I'm an Elvaan in FFXI, though back when I was starting, I considered being a Galka. I've always thought that if I had the opportunity to restart FFXI, I would do so a Galka. Thus, it's very likely I will be picking a Rogadyn in XIV.

Reading the description about the Rogadyn, it talks about how some of them were trained in magic. So I would be a Rogadyn mage. If the racial differences exist in FFXIV also, the better; I like overcoming obstacles.

My intent would be to start off finding 5 other people who will join me as 6 mage lalafels. These 6 lalafels will be named Xin, Bin, Gin, Rin, Win, and Boy. Our linkshell/guild will be named cowboys. We will go out in the new world and solely destroy every single monster out there imaginable.

Once we hit higher level zones, we must make sure we are wearing equipment that have outlasted themselves for oh 20 levels. We must make sure to be camped at certain areas known to have certain lizards, wyverns, flies, ochus, worms, and birdmen.

If there are special zones that require special coins that require talking to special people in order to access said special zones, you better believe we would be there.

We must make sure to always be on at every single waking hour. If you're not part of the cowboys, you will be replaced.

I'll get the game first day of release and i plan to play elezen , I'll also pick a class that can do both physical and magical damage , something like a Dark Knight or Blue mage is my favorite.

I thought of picking a class that is not a damage dealer since in FF11 there were always many Damage dealers available and only few healers or tanks but i can't playing an attacker is in my veins i love to smash things to pieces.

Definitely going to give the game a try. I had so much fun playing FFXI in the first initial months and should have a decent group of friends to try it with.

Almost 90% likely going to be a male Hyur, keep Orson as my name if I can. As which path I'll take is really tough, I think it'll boil down to whatever my group of friends start off as but probably going to be a tank, fighter DD, or if we've got too many of those possibly a magic user (probably nuker but rdm style could be fun for a change.)

I'm usually an elf-type in online games, but I'm considering Lalafell or Miquo'te for 14. As for my character's name, it will depend on the race I end up with. I want to be some form of support if possible, hoping for something bardly if possible, if not, healer go go go ^_^ Hoping to give the game a whirl as early as possible, hopefully beta.
