Crafting Easier?

Has anyone else been getting crafting skills up a lot easier since the last update? I used to get like 0.1 every 10 or so synths of anima, but since the update I've been getting like 0.1 every 2 or so. As a result I've been able to quickly level up Alchemy.

If I'm not mistaken, that only reduces the chance you lose items in the event of a break.

If anything artisan's advantage, (with img support after update notes iirc) since it lessens the breaks, it gives me the illusion of faster progression because I don't have to stop for breaks as much. I have not seen any other changes though. As for OP question, check the sticky notes in the crafting forum here and see if you are observing some variations in skillup frequency by getting closer to your caps. It's all about the mathies.
