your PC, PS3, or both?

As I did with FFXI, I originally started playing on PC and then added my PS2 to the mix and depending on how I felt I picked one to play on and loved the advantages of both. I didn't bother with 360 lol had it but didn't like it.

How do you Plan on playing, PC, PS3, or both of them because of a friend, spouse or because you can. Are many of you upgrading Current PC's, or do you plan to purchase a PS3?

I know we don't have spec's but will you upgrade your PC regardless?

I want to know! let me know what you are doing I want to see what everyone is like and how people want to play FFXIV if they stay or not.

Playing an MMORPG on a console just feels wrong to me. I will most likely be playing on PC.

I plan on playing PC again but I am definitely in need of an upgrade. The last desktop I got was in 2005 for the purpose of playing FFXI. I plan to build a new PC for the intent of playing FFXIV but cant because no release of system requirements.

Since I plan on dualboxing I hope FFXIV could run on something similar to that so I could have two of these builds.

I'll be playing on my PC, I built this one to last me a while and I have no doubt that it'll handle FF14 on the highest settings with little problems.

I agree with Scyth that playing MMOs on a console is dumb, I played FFXI on a friend's PS2 before and it honestly sucked compared to playing it on my computer. Being free to alt-tab and do other things while playing is awesome, like opening up FFXIclopedia and check things, or FFXIAH and such.

I don't have a PS3 and don't plan on getting one for a long time, but lets not turn this into one of those discussions, even if I had one, I'd still play on PC.

Gonna probably pick up a PS3 just for FFXIV (and MGS4 haven't played that yet...) but will also be playing on PC as well (two boxing).

I had to do that when I went home for Thanksgiving and forgot my PS2 controller. Wasn't too bad. Imo it was a little better than the mouse. The shit that took longer to figure out about playing on laptop was having to set keyboard to compact. So use to PS2 controller to play, keyboard to type.

I don't know about most people but I never ever used my mouse while playing FFXI, so using a laptop wasn't bad at all considering that. My laptop also has a full keyboard so no problems there either.
