I was gonna call the Bears in the 360 league until I saw this, but now I just won't bother buying it, b/c a football game shouldn't have expansion content imo.

2k5 was the greatest football game ever (sans tecmo bowl)

Whatever NCAA 10 had the same shit and I haven't nor will I buy a single thing beyond the base game. All the DLC is basically just putting the game on easy mode, and honestly, if you really want to buy it, whatever, I don't care because I sure as hell won't.

Free Madden w/ 28 issue SI subscription. Only $49 bucks. Since I'm a broke bastard right now, I went for this in lieu of paying the full $60. I'm not sure when I'll get my copy though (ordered yesterday).

Keep in mind the subscription auto-renews, so if you want to axe your subscription, make sure you call SI and cancel it.

It did -okay- for us. If the bonus $10 was "free free" like Wii Sports Resort and not "kinda free but not really" then i bet we could have done better. But ah well, I can't play madden for shit, not even All Play.

Noob question since I normally play the ps3 version, but with the 360 version do you need XBOX Live gold to update rosters, or does silver (the free XBL) allow you to update them as well?

Just create a player and give him 99 across the board. It'll come up short of his actual talent but its close enough.
