I'm confused now. The age of consent is 16, but you're still a minor till you're 17? So you can have sex with a 16 year old, despite them being a minor, and its completly legal?

The way I see it (at least in PA where it's 16 also) is they can consent at 16 and as long as the age difference is 4 years older. My gf was 16 when we first had sex, but still considered a minor.

In PA, its as he says, that you need be within 4 years of the 16-17 year old's age to do anything with them and its no longer a felony/sex crime, its just like a misdemeanor that probably won't even be enforced unless her parents are psycho sexnazis.
