What Religion are you?

Anyway, Agnostic atheist here.

Personally I feel that agnostic athiest IS being an atheist.

I don't think there is a single atheist out there that says that no matter what they will not believe in a Deity.

I am an atheist because there is no solid proof or evidence of there being a Deity. The fact that religion/bible has so many falsehoods and points that are just plain wrong and easily proven wrong, but you are unable to point these out or contest them for some reason, makes me extremely skeptical of the sect as a whole. As time goes on we just disprove more and more of the bible and what religion teaches us, and find more and more how the bible that we know today has even changed since it's inception (the 2000+ year old Constantine era bible they found/translated has no mention of the resurrection). As I look more into the world and people's actions, I find absolutely no correlation to being a 'good' person with being a 'religious' person. Religion simply appears to be a way to control people and pray on people's ignorance to make money. It forces people to stay ignorant too. Once someone has a thought of their own, they condemn them to hell (like they did with galalleo for instance for saying the earth wasn't the center of the universe).


However being Atheist; If there actually is presented 100% undeniable and scientifically testable proof that there is, in fact, a Deity; I will no longer be an atheist. Once there is a single instance of proof that isn't hearsay and is repeatable and testable, I will believe in god. That is how pretty much every atheist is. We are simply atheist because there IS NO proof and must therefore deny the existence of a Deity.
