Nope. They should just re-release the original. Really that is what they should do with every remake. The remakes almost never live up to the originals. It doesn't work in music, and it doesnt work in movies.

Honestly if having Hollywood constantly digging for remakes means having to endure a lot of schlock for a few gems (BSG, V, The Departed, A Fistful of Dollars, Magnificent Seven to name a few) that are as good or better than the original I'm okay with it.

Also, how would you define remake since back in the 60s-70s Sergio Leone and other western directors remade quite a few of Kurosawa's movies and they all are definitely onpar with the original, even taking it in completely original amazing directions a la The Good, The Bad and the Ugly from Yojimbo/Fistful of Dollars.

Synopsis;

Good god, I like Hemsworth but damn his accent is all over the place in that trailer
