4gb ipod will not be able to hold all this bullshiz
i'll have to shave it down for sure, to just the essentials
my goal is to have just the most popular songs (since he's so young) to get him into listening to this shit and then maybe he'll want more.
i'd like to shave you down for sure
to just your essentials
okay good. it's hard to remember everything you listed without going back and doing a search. was ABBA on there?! NO MUSIC COLLECTION IS COMPLETE WITHOUT.
really though, how about some skynyrd, beck, bush, collective soul, justin timberlake (dunno about the profanity here), the postal service, stone temple pilots (if you leave this off i will h8u4eva), tom petty. i think all of those are reasonably appropriate for a 7 year old kid just depending on the song selection.
I still think there is a need for some italian music on there
brb killing self for neglecting The Smiths (and I think New Order?)
AND MORRISSEY
those are good but i wouldn't say essential. i don't have either of them on my ipod, but then i guess it just depends what genres you tend to lean most heavily toward and where you use your ipod.
did anyone mention Bryan Adams?
Billy Joel?
my ipod is nothing but OUR LADY PEACE
dude how did i forget STP and beck, wow brb killing self
collective soul too, damn
dont forget about raffi
Maybe I'm old school with this, but something as complex as an iPod for a 7 yr old kid? lol I remember not being allowed even a basic shit ass cellphone until I was 16. I sense them losing it in a few months.
He's not really an average 7 year old. He's very smart and takes good care of his things. I don't think he'll be allowed to take it to school. I spent 40 bucks on this -- I bought it used off Craigslist. iPods aren't really that complex -- it isn't like I bought him a an iTouch -- he'll be fine.
Keep the suggestions coming please, seeing all the stuff I forgot is making me paranoid
suggestion for the closing track:
