the tudors really seems more like a vehicle to explain henry's motivations for his actions, and violence with t&a just come along for the ride. it's very much about how the people around him look to manipulate circumstances to achieve their goals and how that ultimately affects him. if plotting and scheming doesn't interest you, i suggest you just google the various sex scenes and don't bother with the rest.

Plotting and scheming do interest me. Just the way it was carried on here wasn't my cup of tea. I watched iono how many episodes and just lost interest.
