toronto is pretty badass, although Circa, our hottest club in the last 2 years finally Icarus'd itself and went under

all the north end non-downtown gino's and dude-bro's ruined it, plus it got a little too gay for its britches

initially it had been pretty gay-friendly, and club-54-ish, people wearing whatever they want, but this tolerance attracted waaaaaay too many of the gay crowd and they kinda settled in and deterred a lot of the original crowd


anyway, there's tons of great places along College St, Queen west (which seems to be expanding its westernmost 'acceptable boundary' of where is cool to hang, used to be way trashy if you went too too west)

plus the fact it's similar to large cities like new york where you can do whatever you want, eat whatever you want, there's always a place or a neighborhood -- best part is it's less dangerous (although I'm told new york has cleaned up somewhat)

I actually find there's not that much eye contact in Toronto, a lot of snobby bitches up in here and I don't mean women. I've gotten used to it, but I could imagine NYC has even less eye contact
