I dunno, there's a lot of different flat breads. Naan isn't exactly the same but it is similar.
By the way, you can make really good dipping things by cutting up pita bread and baking it. Pita bread itself is simple to make in the oven, and even simpler on a stovetop if you have a heat diffuser.
