Tends to get really slow once you're 20 over, but I'd pushed alchemy to 30 off the first work order just for the sake of saving a few k.
Money's been a bit better for me this time around, I think, but I also took the time to sit around in some bazaars and doing trades in the starter area. Still not rich by any means, but I'm far better geared for now (if that even means a whole lot at 15, lawl).
*enters hour 3 of solo suspicious box whacking*
Anyone got any idea of what to do around 21 as elyos, there dosn't seem to be alot of quests to bridge into 22-24, alot of the quests are also gathering (taking forever to level with so many people playing) any idea of where to go to grind or do some quests at?
Anyone know of a place that's quick to download the game? A friend is getting about 80 kb/sec from NCsoft and Steam...

I asked it this morning in area chat, but none of the many crafters around me answered: Does anyone know what color the text changes to when the pattern no longer gives skill ups?
I've taken my Alchemy to 31 off the level 1 Work Order and it still seems to be going, just slowly. The text has turned white for it. I'm guessing it will grey out?
Also, what determines the "greater" result when crafting? Say the green version instead of the normal white. Is it just completely random or does it have anything to do with the random power charges your bars get while making it?
Sorry that i didn't read the rest of the thread but...
Can you just create a subscription online and download the game like warhammer did?
or does it actually have a cd-key to register to get an account going?
You can do that but it does require a key which comes with your purchase in an email and which you enter into your account information to start service

Can anyone tell me why I'm killing Turin Outlaws and it's not counting them? The purple marker points them out, I kill them, stays 0/3. Tried logging out and back in, nothing.
They need to have a hood on
No clue, it was just a common quest when I leveled
Is there some place where I can get an idea of what is a good order to do quests in? There are so many, I don't even know where to start. I just got to Sanctum, and every other person has a blue arrow over their heads.
Why isn't recent accomplishments open yet? I know we are still low level but does that mean we can't post the good shit we have done/found along the way?
OK is there some trick to joining a legion? I am only level 10 assassin and Iam not going to go to a bunch of websites and "apply" I just want to make friends but whenever I ask to join a legion no one ever ever reply's back? I'm so ronry ; ;
What race and server?

Yeah, I kinda laugh at the forcing of applications or even Vent use at this point in the game's life. I guess some put a bit too much stake in their e-rep. Then again, I guess I'm trying to shake off XI burn-out and am not exactly in a rush to jump back into an event schedule or the hardcore mentality.
That said, I know I've turned down some blind Legion invites, myself. The only conversation I've really had with anyone since launch was someone else also played XI after making a joke about killing the Sandy 2-3 dragon. Seems like a lot of people are just in their own little world while playing, but I could also fault that to the chat UI being kind of clunky (lack of opacity slider, and I don't think I've found a way to quickly respond to whispers like XI's ctrl+r...).
I think at this point, I'm just kind of turning it into a little game to see how long it takes for someone to make a modest offer at joining a legion.
