Aion: Random Question Thread

Could someone help explain what to do in the abyss? I just got access a couple days ago, and it's a little overwhelming. Should I be grinding there to get abyss points and buy gear? Should I be finding quests there? Should I join groups to do raids there? What are the artifacts and how do you take control of them? Should I stay on the lower portion since I'm elyos or should I go to the top part too?

I'm really confused about everything... Any information explaining this would be awesome.

I'm not too far in, myself. Had a few quests pop up of the normal and campaign variety. Did what I could solo and have basically just been grinding on the undead skeleton dudes for both EXP and AP. One day I went with a small group to run around ganking Asmos, but most of the time it's been the other way around when they manage to come as far out as I like to kill stuff. 28 now, and not really sure where I should be going for quests. I just know I want 30 so I can get the freebie wings and solo one more quest for like 300k EXP because the option to teleport to the one camp for it isn't available, but flying to it is apparently possible if you have enough flight time.

Thinking Templar / Cleric or Templar / Chanter

Temp&Cleric would be better overall imo because most groups need those, as well as obviously being a real solid duo.

Ctrl + Right Click I believe is what links mostly everything. Quests, items, locations.

Does poison bubblegut ever take more than 1 damage? and can a 15 rng solo him?

You get 2 potions that remove the buff for like 5-10 seconds, not sure if you can solo it though

I never got 2 potions :< Yeah I did it with a random group earlier but I hadn't flagged the quest (though it was an exp group then they popped it ._.; )

If he moves over dry land he reapplies his defense. But yeah, use the potion you get when on that leg of the quest and go from there.

I read that you can buy emotes from a vendor somewhere... but I can't seem to find info on where it is. Anyone know where the vendor in sanctum is?

I enjoyed dualboxing gladiator / chanter; was able to duo the krall elites pretty easily. I also self duo'd that big tree NM in Theobomos, but not consistantly
