I have a question, but I'd like the answer PMed to me, if at all possible. These Sin combo point things with the carvings and whatnot... I understand them to an extent, but could someone break it down for me so that I drunk retarded person could understand? I mean, I played WoW for a bit as rogue so I get the basics, but with the different ones to use... anyone get this shit at all? I guess I'm looking for the most efficient and potent combos? I'm lvl 22 now, thanks.

That's fucking retarded and I'd really like there to be some way to get around that.
Use stones that are 10-15 levels over the item level for greens, 15-20 for blues.

I'd just like to say that you guys are not allowed to have a thread named Random Question Thread, because now I get confused when I see Random Question Thread in the forum summary but then go to the wow section and see no new posts.

Since I'm not a caster, I don't know how useful they are, but with my Alchemy at 250, should I bother making orbs/books to AH? I've yet to sit down and estimate the price of materials, but it's probably safe to assume anything over level 25 in requirement will cost at least 70k to make between fluxes and aether. I don't really know how competitive quest rewards are in comparison, but I know I currently have a hard time wanting to pay more than 100k for anything at the moment and don't want to waste money or AH slots on things that won't sell quickly, if at all.

I was doing Temporal Stones briefly, but eventually people started flooding the market and they didn't sell nearly fast enough for me to want to endure the undercutting.

I really don't suggest depending on broker sales to make money at the moment. Put up what you can, but don't rely on it because things are just getting flooded and not everyone is going to be buying things from the broker. I have several things up you'd think would sell in no time, but they just get undercut within an hour of putting it up. Heck, I had an Ignite Aether up for 200k that was undercut from all the rest up and I slept, went to work and it had dropped to 3k within 24 hours...

Yeah, I can understand the AH being unstable this early on, but since I don't seem to be having the luck of others in terms of vendor trash, I'm just trying to look for ways to get ahead in terms of cash so I'll be able to afford my skill upgrades and maybe buy a piece of gear here and there. Random disconnects mid-fight and coming back to a forced respawn has contributed to a lot of wasted cash in Soul Heals, too.

Despite this, I know raising a second character will be a lot easier once a main is established. Just getting to that point is roughing me up and most others I've talked to in-game aren't exactly happy with their money situation, either. So many are desperate to gouge and undercut that you either can't afford something or it never sells.

Yeah last night I leveled up a second character to level 10 just so I could have more auction house slots since I get so many things on my main that never sell. I make more money from questing and vendoring trash than I do from the broker. :\

Why do the expensive pieces of abyss gear for Lv30 exist? Is it even possible to accumulate 100k+ abyss points by Lv30? It seems like no one could ever get those pieces... Even the blue ones are pretty expensive, I'll barely be able to afford a couple of the green ones.

They're very good for a very long time. Pretty much anyone who's hardcore into PvP has already farmed for and bought the gold Lv.30 boots.

I can't wait for lv50 if I had to spend 400k~ putting 6 +10 crit stones in AP boots.

Boots are a total waste of AP, since you get a free pair of blue run speed shoes at 37 (elyos at least). Gloves have attack speed, and you won't find an equivalent until later levels (40+ until people start getting expert crafts).

I'm just curious why the gloves are so useful for a spiritmaster? Indalecia is curious as well. 8% seems negligible at this level with 0 other attack speed gear until late 40s. Does it really make that much of a difference rather than getting run speed boots at level 30?

Isn't the normal attack counter reset when using an attack skill, anyway? Or was that something that got patched? Just remember reading people about trying to time skills just after a swing to up their DoT.

That's not my point? The abyss boots are 7 levels earlier than those quest boots and they're way better. Maybe you misread me when I said "hardcore into PvP"?

Attack speed reduces animation delay when preforming skills, as well as increasing your melee attack speed. While the latter isn't important to mages, the reduced delay is MAJOR for those that kite.

Well yeah I know that.. but 8% doesn't seem like a big deal alone without the higher level pieces of gear

So then is the green abyss gear even worth buying or would I be better off saving my AP for higher-end gear when I'm a higher level?

Also... where is a good place to grind at Lv30? I've been experimenting with different camps in the abyss, but the one I've been at is starting to get too low, and I'm not sure where to go now.

Save it, green abyss gear is a total waste. I'll probably just save it all for 50 and get something nice right when I ding.
