Manastones for sorc: HP or Magic Boost? So far I`ve been using mostly Magic Boost with a little bit of HP, but soon I`ll be crafting a new set of gear and I just hit 25 last night, so abyss/pvp is open now.

Also, for pvp: Does weapon really make a difference? Some people in my legion have been saying their DoTs (as SM) won`t land in pvp without a book. I have a +10 black claw jewel, but I also have a jahama`s tome and black claw chieftan`s tome sitting around I could +10. Just the Jahama Tome doesn`t look like much of an upgrade to magic accuracy.

Glad's can burn you down pretty quickly (leather/cloth wearers), but they just have issues locking ppl down outside their aether hold, well until later lvs

And also as a cleric, does magicboost effect cures, or just stack MP?

magic boost affects most of your damage skills, but does nothing for cures. nothing does anything for cures aside from the boost healing passives, and certain buffs/debuffs.

stacking MP is shit. stack HP. I have over 4k HP at 34 with pretty mediocre gear.

I'm a Elyos Spiritmaster. I know I should be aiming for HP and Magic Boost gear and manastones, but is there a certain number I should be shooting for? If I go all out on Magic Boost, is there a soft cap for it? If I do that, will I die too often? If the previous answers are yes, should I shoot for a certain HP total?

Going along with that question, I'm 21 right now and I haven't found a Tome that is as good as an orb, but I see higher level SM's mainly using tomes, so is there a certain level that they become better or are they just better for group things and orbs remain better for solo xp?

books are better than orbs for pvp, no questions asked. use orbs for things where the magic accuracy difference doesn't matter, like soloing mobs around your level.

How are you getting things to +10? You are making it sound like you can easily do it also, and you're only 25? From what I've read you need like Lv 40 stones for a good chance to get a level 20 weapon up to +10 and even then you're going to lose some on the way there. Lv 40 stones aren't cheap, what's your secret or am I missing something? I don't enhance any of my gear because I usualy just go +1, +2, +1, 0 everytime.

Enhancing weapons that low is pointless, and doubly so for a mage... 25-35k for 4 magic boost that you're going to outlevel?

I assume most classes prefer the same types of mobs, i.e. the one with obviously less HP (zombies, baby drakes, etc.) and non-lolownedu moves (i.e. no basilisks). I just hit 27.5 on Templar and I ran out of quests for the first time I think, so I need something to grind on. I need money anyway, I only have 680k.

Judging from the mobs you are listing, I am assuming you're Asmo? It wasn't exactly at 27 but I hit up around Alsig village, got some nice EXP there for a while. There are even higher level monster on the other side of it past the cornfields.

Ah btw. if you not worrying about ganking etc. then Abyss is generally a good grind area. You can kill the Balaur on Sulfur Continent (north east of the fortress) but you will meet lots of Asmo. Generally that's what I did when I run a quest-dry moment - spend it in abyss. (which was easier for me as SM because of easy DP gain). Can't really remember what would I fight in Elysea at this level though...

haha I have no idea, the furthest I got on Elyos was LV16 and a lot of the mobs on that side I have never seen before.

Elyos has the little crawly zombies in Theobomos. Few spots for 'em, but a lot tend to be in the west are of the map just before the southern kerubim village. Drakies would be Eltnen near the habitat village, but there aren't a whole hell of a lot of 'em from what I saw (or they're just being perpetually farmed). I guess the Steelclaw Griffons are a low HP mob, but they also come with lower HP and I don't think I've ever seen them drop anything.
