So I ended up picking the Orb thingy for my Spirit Master, only to find out that it was a bad choice. Is there a book or so that will be equivalent to the book you get after Accession?

Doesn't really matter at that level, just get a green book at like 17-18 or w/e
You only need lots of macc for PvP or for fighting mobs more than a level or two above you
Any particular place I can grind a lil on a 17 Sorc? The quests I have access too is starting to kill me and I don't want to group up just yet. Was kinda hoping to hit 20 before I do.
If you're Elyos, could try the crabs by the Observatory.
How should I be socketing my Spiritmaster in the 20's+ ?
Up until this point I have been doing pure MP manastones because it seems to be my limiting factor during soloing or in groups that kill fast through dungeon zones, should I be keeping this pattern or is there something I am missing that would leave me better off than this? I didn't do Magic Boost because I was told it was worthless other than for Erosion, however I don't know if it will affect other spells now that I am further in the levels.
I wasn't very serious with this manastone stuff earlier in the levels, but now that I am starting to get pieces of blue gear I am seeing more reason to do some research on it.
When I first started out in FFXI, I tossed over 100 beastmen seals because I had no idea what to do with them and they were wasting my inv space. I found out later, when I was running broke from buyin spells and stuff, that they coulda made me some decent change and was pretty annoyed.
Is there anything that some of you higher leveled people (or even midlevel people, hell people in the 20s or so) know now that you wish you had known starting out? I've just started playing recently and haven't done much, but I wanna avoid early dumb mistakes that'll cost me later.
Most of my money has come from quests so far and I hear that continues for a while so I'm not as worried about the seals thing happening again, but I can't wait to hit 30+ and find out that something I did at level 10-15 has made me miss out on cool/fun stuff.
My Sorc is Elyos. ^^;
Random Question: Why teh fuck is Aion full of 10yo wowfaggots spamming up my chat about how wow is 10x better than Aion? Shit makes me RAGE to no end
Because WoW invented Halo.
Can somebody please tell me how in the hell this guy has almost triple the amount of Abyss points the top 10 other people on both Asmo and Elyos side have combined?
Aion™ Online :: Character & Legion
Yep. It's almost certainly a fact that he's one of those pussies hugging the guards and running at the first sign of trouble, too. Probably jumps off the abyss to avoid losing AP.
grr everyone should go into a rift in their mid 40s and stand outside a mid-30s quest hub and gank people trying to turn quests in, like real men
Anyone know where to buy gate restoration stones?
There is a NPC in Primum/Teminon that sells them. The one in Primum is by the flight rings to Sulfur Island. The one in Teminon is probably off having gay buttsex somewhere.
haha... my friend never got to finish one of the entry lv infiltration (spy) quests since doing those were hard as hell early on (still are) since the area is sprawling w/ppl. So.. 4 of us (35 at the time) found a rift and made our way over there. Epic fight took 20+ ppl to take us down, made me feel like a monster just rolling over ppl in their early / late 20's until we drew enough attention that they got backup. Our Cleric lasted the longest and after we all went down he stayed up for a few extra minutes and took a good 5 of em out before going down himself
I'm talking more about how every Elyos on my server apparently thinks there's gold in the hills of Beluslan. It has a horrible reputation for being a botter's paradise, but what these idiots don't realize is that a majority of the botters stay either near guards or in areas you can only reach by crossing NPC-guarded bridges.
So when they utterly fail to find any decent amount of botters, they work their way through Kurngalfberg, around the Giant's Valley, across Besfer Ghost Village, to the Whispering Forest, steamrolling every solo quester along the way. And when they're done clearing the forest, they just hang around the Refugee Camp until they get bored or die. Repeat every 2 hours. It's obnoxious. I don't think I've ever been able to reach the Refugee Camp on foot when a rift was open, you either fly in or get ganked.
