While I can't speak for weapons, being able to make your own armor for the mid-30s can be pretty handy if you're not able to throw yourself at the group grind quests with regular frequency. The mark-up on such gear compared to material costs on Kaisinel has been pretty considerable, and I honestly have no idea if any of them are getting away with such stupid costs.

Uh.. problem. I just blocked a bot but I can still see their chat. Right clicked and got the "already has been blocked" message and i'm continuing to see the message. Halp.

This happens to me when I block someone on one char then try to block them from right click>block on another char in the same session without closing the game. Have to type it on the block menu.

I kepted my by default but when i'm pvping it's annoying to use alt for 2nd bar lol

Not sure exactly what you mean, but I put all my important stuff in 1-6 and alt 1-5. I use a natural keyboard so alt is easy to hit with my left thumb. I also have some stuff (like my mantras) on my 2nd skill bar (shift-2 to go to it, shift-1 to go back) that I can hit with one hand as well. Everything else (rez, DP moves, other buffs) are just clicked when needed.

I use 1 for smite, 2 for the first chain, 3 for the other chain, 4 for parry, 5 for the alt-skill on the first chain, and 6 for the knockdown move. Alt 1 and 2 are both cures, alt-3 is the HoT, alt-4 is the aoe protection stigma, and alt-5 is loot.

46 skillbooks are world drops off 46+ mobs in Theobomos (for elyos). Already got my Wing Root book ready, shits pro. ^_^



As to SM/Sorc gear, decent cloth and you're good to go. Weapons are pretty much preference, I usually like orb on SM for the higher MB.

Great Sword vs Sword and Shield for mostly solo/duo play? Does it change for group play (like Krall etc.)? I don't really think I can affor to keep a top-notch g.s., top-notch sword+shield, and top-notch plate set yet, so I'm wondering which I should focus on:

Great g.s., great s&s, decent armor
or
One great weap and great armor with no switch?


Also, is there a way to upgrade manastones? I was thinking like runes in diablo or something, where you can trade up or a better one somehow? And how much does it cost to remove them, before I put some nice ones in a good item, outlevel it, and can't remove them or something.

Was kinda hoping on an actual definition of good. Other then "Green" ones. I'm planning on getting the Mirage set for both so that should be good for a few levels.

If you can afford it, get the crafted gear, try for blues at best. Get friends with high crafts and it's all good.

My Elyos spiritmaster is level 26 and I'm looking for a good place to grind. I wanted to do Memory Reapers 100+ times, but the Elyos hold all of the forts so Asmo have the Reaper island.

I've heard there are some other ghosts that you can grind with a repeatable quest, but I'm not sure where. Any other advice would be nice.

Just hit 25 and Abyss, gathered up all the quests and did the intro mission, what should I do now for the best leveling speed? Someone mentioned Training Grounds but I'm not familiar with it. Is it an instance or something?

Yeah it's an instance for 25-28 and it's pretty good, 25-26 was lightning quick just doing TG, that's what I recommend doing for 25

What do you have to do in order to get rewards in your mailbox from PvP, I see people talking about getting Kinnah and medals in the mail but have yet to get any after a big PvP event.

Is it simply favored to the DPS classes who can mindlessly spam an AoE while the classes which heal, or don't perform much DPS, are kind of left in the dust?

That's a pretty big flaw for a game which is supposed to focus on PvP. Kind of a turn off knowing the Sorcerers and Rangers (who already destroy most classes) have it easier and can simply spam their way to better gear. I am lucky to get more than 1 AP per death in a large scale battle, the time it takes me to run up to a person I target is the time it takes for the 100+ ranged classes to kill him before I can reach him usually. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong but I think lag and closing time play a big role in it. So AoE and Range are both beneficial in the setting we have currently.

Someone speculated that you got medals for healing, but that is not true. The only way you get kinah and medals in fortress sieges is how much damage you do to the end General and the enemy forces. So if you're a healing or tank, good luck with those medals. Best way would be to join a legion that spreads the medals out to everyone. But its pretty much worthless for me to go to any fortress sieges solo as a chanter.

As a 27 Sorc and Chanter duo, what is the bare minimum we could get away with in clearing everything in Nochasana? Is it possible for us two to just duo it? (The Chanter is used to tanking for me.) Would we need to add one more person of X class in order to be able to do the boss? Which class?

And semi-related to that, is Chanter a viable tank? If yes, in what instances, since I`m sure there are some/many cases where a Templar is just absolutely necessary.

So basically healers and tanks, and anyone who isn't an AoE or very strong DPS, won't be able to earn the medals (especially not gold) to earn the higher tier gear unless you can convince a DPS to give you theirs? I guess the only good thing about that is that the medals are tradable? So I guess once the DPS have their full sets they will sell their medals for insane amounts of kinnah for the Healers/Tanks to buy them. Awesome. That kind of ruins end game PvP for me.

Is it just me or does this site add in the HP you get from Armor buff(for templars)? Because I only have 3600 hp without, but with it I got 5k.
